This hotel is in a prime location, perfect for ski-in, ski-out access. The on-site ski rental shop makes things incredibly convenient, with a fantastic staff ready to assist with equipment and setup. While the hotel itself has a lot to offer, the rooms could use some updating—they’re starting to feel a bit tired. However, the service more than makes up for it. The front desk staff is outstanding—always friendly, helpful, and welcoming ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! The concierge team is equally excellent, always available and happy to assist ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Housekeeping is reliable, with timely turn-down service every evening. The on-site restaurant, while serving good food, lacks energy. It feels a bit too quiet and could benefit from a renovation to make it more inviting. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel. It has some great qualities and offers good value, especially considering its peak season pricing. The inclusion of three meals a day adds to the overall value, which is always a plus when traveling.

THE WORST HOTEL SERVICE AND EMPLOYEES I HAVE EVERY ENCOUNTERED IN MY WHOLE LIFE OF TRAVELING. I am writing this review out of a very bad experience with the staff and management of the hotel. I made a booking for 2 at the Hotel and paid for it. Shortly after I receive an email regarding my booking explaining that the room I booked had water damage (later on I discovered that was a complete lie since I had two more friends that were staying at the hotel and had the same TERRIBLE experience) never the less I was told that I would have to switch rooms the next day of my stay if I chose to continue with my booking or I would receive a full refund. I went to the hotel to check in and after the complete check in process was completed I was told by the front desk that the next morning I would have to check out of the hotel at 11am and wait for 5 hours with out a room and re-checkin into another room at 4PM since they would need the room I'll be staying in for another guest. Not wanting to be homeless for that period of time considering I paid for 2 nights and not for an 18 hour hotel I respectfully informed that hotel that I will not stay with them and would like to take them up on the refund offer which they have provided me in writing. The receptionist informed me that it wouldn't be an issue but since she's not the manager I would have to contact the hotel in the morning when the manager is on site. The next day I spoke to the assistant general manager SEBASTIAN and he told me that he understood the situation and but regretfully he will not be processing any refunds since the reservation has not been cancelled the day before. Despite explaining to him that the receptionist told me that it wouldn't be a issue but she wasn't authorized to do it on the spot he responded that he would have no authority to do so and would escalate it to upper managers. I continued to chase the hotel several times including once of the times I spoke to a receptionist and when I told her that this was completely unprofessional and that I would make a formal complaint to the tourism bored her response to me was " We don't care go ahead and do whatever you want." I tried to call the hotel several more times until I reached the General Manager LUCY. I explained to her the situation clearly and once again she informed me that she will try to find a solution with "upper management" whatever that meant anymore, and that she would call me back. I haven't received any calls and when I spoke to her once again she lied telling me that she tried to call me which is not true because I have voice mail on my phone and she explained that my phone wouldn't ring. When I asked her what was the out come of her discussion with "upper management" I was told that there's nothing she can do. I informed her that at this point I will be submitting a complaint to the tourism board and will proceed by posting a review. She informed me that she will speak to "upper management again" since then I have

One of the better hotels in Courchavel. Good enough rooms, good breakfast, great loction, and good service. However, it does not have a gym, which I have never seen at a 5 star hotel, and the spa feels more like a 4star. Overall, if you can book at a competitive rate, an overall good hotel, but nothing spectacular.

For me is one of the best options to stay in Courchevel. Have been many times nd everything is always perfect. Walking distance from village and skiing directly out to the slopes. Rooms are cozy and clean and facilities very good. Very recommended. Will be back

The hotel does not deserve 5 stars. It is, and must be a 4 star hotel with no doubts. We stayed at the best room of the hotel an yet the service was poor. The chief of the reception, concierge and the restaurant are disrespectful. The elevator broke down and instead of apologizing, the chief of the reception spoke to us in a disrespectful way. When we order a tea in breakfast, the chief of the restaurant acts as if i’m the waiter and he is the customer, and he looks surprised from my request instead of saying “Yes sir”. The Concierge acts as if he is my boss and i’m his employee. I ask for a skipass and he tells me to go wait 10 minutes in the lobby, and never comes back. I ask for a shuttle to Chalet de Pierres, he says it’s coming and then there’s no news so i call the taxi. All these personnel was very rude and could never be tolerated at a place which calls itself as a “5 star hotel”. The management of the hotel actually agrees with my opinion since they are NOT even bothered to change the ceramic tiles on the building where it shows 4 stars on the name Carlina. Probably the hotel was 4 stars and then promoted itself to 5 stars but i’m not sure how did they manage to do so with this poor staff and careless interior design. To sum up, while there are many 5 star hotels at Courchevel where you can get what you pay for, unfortunately Carlina is not one of them.
