An Chúirt Hotel, Gweedore, Donegal

Lovely hotel but the coffee at breakfast was like water we didn't know if it was tea. It wasn't it was coffee had to get up 3 times to ask for actual coffee. Most staff nice about it but a grumpy older women didn't even say sorry when I said I had asked 3 times. Up and down didn't even want to eat my breakfast after. Couldn't use the coffee machine no coffee In it. Got a good pot at the end and ps no USB in our room to charge anything

This was our second visit, 2 nights over Easter. The hotel was much busier than before-however this did at to the atmosphere, and was by no means overcrowded. Check in was quick, personal and friendly. We had been given a suite ( room 210 ) that certainly had the wow factor. Huge bed, loads of room and stunning views. Breakfast was delicious, buffet style, but all was hot and fresh. We used the leisure centre a few times - its fair to say this looks a little dated, and could probably do with a complete deep clean and refurb. It was disappointing that the Infrared Sauna was still not working ( i gather this has been the case for months now). However, the pool itself and steam/sauna were good. On this visit the bar was open in the evenings, outside of these times and drinks have to be served from the restaurant across the courtyard ( even coffee ) this isn't great if the Donegal weather is wet! Overall though, this is a fantastic hotel with some of the best countryside and dramatic views you will see. The staff give it a real family run feel and couldn't do enough for you. Definitely recommend and will be back.

The Sunday carvery lunch is absolutely delicious. The chef give generous servings of the meats and the food always piping hot. they offer a great selection so meats, sauces, potatoes and vegetables. You order your starter off a menu and then go up and pick and choose your main course. Something for everyone.

Wonderful hotel. The staff really make this place, I'd go so far to say that it's probably the friendliest hotel or certainly one of the friendliest hotels I've ever stayed in. We had the family room, it had a seating area to watch TV and there was plenty of space for our toddlers to run around. The setting is obviously stunning, the hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff at the leisure club are lovely aswell and the locals that use it equally so. The only thing I'd say is the changing rooms were too cold for me but I'm always cold so it's hardly a gripe. Food in Fara Ógs was excellent and staff were great. We were only here for two nights and I honestly wished we'd booked another. I really hope to come back. It was my Dad's 80th birthday trip and growing up we had many family trips to the Gweedore area so it's a special place in our hearts and thanks to the staff we've preserved those special memories and made some more.

We had a fantastic stay in An Chúirt. We got married in the hotel last year so it was great to return. (We had a fantastic day at our wedding and would highly recommend An Chúirt as a wedding venue). The hotel is in a great location with very helpful, friendly staff. It is a lovely cosy hotel with great food in the bar/restaurant fara ogs. The staff were very welcoming in reception, breakfast and throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool and sauna facility are great too. We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

Unbelievable hotel for the price. Really clean and great friendly staff. Great location and food really good. Comfortable beds and really peaceful. Leisure centre was excellent. Really quiet and very helpful staff. Plenty towels and no complaints at all.
