Uniquely suited for a family vacation, executive retreats, and grandparents and grandchildren getaways. For the golf enthusiasts, golf courses are only a few minutes away. The cottage is also only minutes away from the Lexington or Port Sanilac Marina, the 'Barn Theater' featuring local productions, 'Music in the Park' at Harbor Park on weekends throughout the summer, and several great restaurants within walking distance.Additional amenities include outdoor fire pit for star gazing or just enjoying the breathtaking sunrises over Lake Huron. The lake is just steps out from the front door with full privacy. There is also a detached Main house with five bedrooms VRBO # 450471 and beach guest house VRBO # 451356 available. The main house can accommodate up to twenty individuals while the beach house can accommodate up to six individuals. Tiny Home on beautiful Lake Huron just 2 miles south of the quaint town of Lexington Michigan. This property sits on a bluff overlooking Lake Huron which provides our guests an unobstructed view of passing freighters and stunning sunrises. The property sits on a 1/2 acre at the end of a quiet street with your own private beach surrounded by woods on one side. This warm and cozy Tiny home has large patio with plenty of covered outdoor living. We have a real wood fire pit and propane fire pit. Enjoy outdoor dining with grill, or have someone else cook for you at one of Lexington's many restaurants. There are plenty of outdoor activities for everyone. We have Kayaks for rent, Giant Jenga, corn hole, and yard Yahtzee. If you have a boat you’ll be able to anchor out in front of your private beach or rent a slip in the Lexington harbor. RV/Campers are welcomed as the property has an electrical hook-up to park an RV/camper (extra charge). Our spacious three-bedroom cottage offers a fully updated stocked kitchen, dining area, living room with additional dining table and ceiling fans in each room. The large, oversized lot has plenty of room for yard games, features a picnic tables, mature shade tree and the opportunity to relax by the firepit (wood not provided). For your convenience we own an additional large lot across the street to park your vehicles, boats and jet skis - so bring your toys. Four miles north is the charming little harbor village of Lexington on the shores of Lake Huron, there you can walk the pier, check out the marina and/or reserve a slip, stroll in and out of all the little unique shops, dine by the water, grocery shop, utilize the boat ramp, enjoy the public beach, attend a concert (schedule posted at cottage), play at the playground, swim or just relax and sun bath. Welcome to our cozy lake home located in a QUIET cottage community, just steps away (4 houses) from the water with a water view from both the spacious Florida Room and front yard. Short, beautiful walk to the Beach Access located at the end of the street. The cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen, ready for a home cooked meal or visit one of the one of the excellent local restaurants, ranging from casual to fine dining, just minutes away in Downtown Lexington. There are also many fun shops and a performing arts theatre if you would enjoy a day of shopping or catch a show in the evening! The comfortable living room is equipped with a gas fireplace for cooler evenings, flat screen TV, Roku, Wi-Fi, and a Queen Sleeper Sofa for once the day is through. The additional sleeping accommodations include the master featuring a Queen bed with a sliding glass door overlooking the tranquil, fenced back yard. A secondary bedroom offers another queen bed with a twin loft above. The updated full bathroom has a Tub/Shower with medicine cabinet for storage of personal toiletries. A limited number of toiletries provided along linens (sheets, towels, washcloths). This home includes a laundry room with washer & dryer combo (detergent not provided) and features an On Demand Tankless Water Heater for much needed showers after a full day at the Beach. Please bring your own beach towels. We kindly ask that you do not remove or use the towels provided for showers as beach towels. Community Amenities include a boat ramp, playground, and overflow parking for a boat, trailer, or guest vehicle. On property parking has space for several vehicles but a max height of 7’. Don’t want to be away from your pets or need to save the additional cost of boarding while on vacation? Don’t worry, this Cottage offers a fenced, Pet Friendly home & yard for an additional fee. Please be sure to use the waste bags provided to pick up after pets during walks and also within the fenced back yard (an additional fee will be charged if pet waste is left behind on the grounds). We also provide a dog bowl and treats to make your pet feel at home. Nicely sized back yard with plenty of shade for your family & the pups to lounge. On the rare occasions that the outside temperatures get too high, a portable AC unit is provided to compliment the ceiling fans to increase comfort level.Don’t forget, this is a Quiet Cottage Community SO PLEASE abide by the quiet time hours of 11pm – 8am, turn down the volume during those hours to be respectful of the neighbors.
