Pull up to the cottage with the fenced front yard pass through the screened in porch to your cottage away from home.The Davis home also shares this property. There is a 10 minute drive to the Bitterroot River.The town of Stevensville is located about 9 miles to the north, the village of Victor 5 miles to the east, and the town of Hamilton about 15 miles south. Across the valley to the west are numerous trail heads that lead up into the Bitterroot Mountains.Renter is required to agree with the terms of the rental agreement. This beautiful historic home sleeps 2 adults in a cozy master bedroom with a plush king size bed. The second bedroom would be perfect for a kid or smaller children and there is room for a pack and play. This charming house has original wood details, moldings and windows and is filled with antique furniture. It also features an ornate mantle with working fireplace and has a clawfoot tub. The kitchen has been completely remodeled and the hardwood floors have been redone. There is a new full size washer and dryer. Second bedroom could accommodate a small child or a pack and play but does not have a bed. Back yard with Mountain views and a barn. Large front porch to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather in the Fall, Spring or Summer. There is no A/C but stays cool in the summer and also very cozy in the winter with forced air heat and a working fireplace with blower. Easy walking distance to Main Street, the brewery and restaurants. Close to the park and the historic Mission. A perfect place to stay for the Holidays, Creamery picnic, or the Scarecrow festival. There are numerous historical sites to visit and cultural events to attend. Historic downtown Stevensville will delight you with its small-town shops, cafes, and fine-dining restaurants. Close to the town of Darby, MT where the Yellowstone Ranch from the show can be seen. Excellent shopping in Stevensville, Darby and Hamilton. And then there is simply….relaxing. Soak in the views of the surrounding mountains from the comfort of a deep wrap-around porch or relax by the firepit and watch a dazzling sunset over the peaks. Get up close and personal with local wildlife as deer and other animals often wander by. This charming cottage is fully furnished and features a living room area with comfy sofas, original artwork and a large separate bedroom and full bathroom. There are games to play and books to read; connect to WiFi or watch dvd’s or movies on the Amazon Firestick TV. The adjoining kitchen is stocked with all your cooking essentials plus there is a barbecue grill on the porch. Dine inside, outside, or in town at your pleasure. When it’s time to retire for the evening, comfortable beds and peaceful quiet await you. The bedroom can be configured for either a king sized bed or 2 separate twins. Also, one of the living room sofas folds out into a third over-sized single if needed.As hosts, we can assist you with local needs and we’ll give you the level of privacy you desire. We are a small working farm on 11 acres and both the cottage and our home are situated there. You are welcome to roam the property; visit the honeyberry patch and maybe see what we're up to in the vegetable garden.
