Flint Cottage is a charming two bedroom home for four guests in the wonderful village of Gayton just a few miles south of Sandringham and twenty minutes from the stunning North Norfolk coast. We are lucky enough to have in the village, The Crown Inn, which is recently refurbished with an outstanding menu.The Cottage has been designed for luxury, ambience and fun stays. It's chock full of features to maximise your comfort and enjoyment. There is an ice machine in the utility room, so you'll be able to have your wine chilling in the bucket on the antique stand. The chapel chairs have books in: fun dinner party ones for sharing around the table and short stories for bedtime. We have decanters for your tipple of choice and lots of games. There's a large telescope for a clear night sky and a pocket one for your jaunts. In the bookcase there are many books about Norfolk, as well as general fiction. There is an MP3 dock, large flat screen TV and an Amazon Firestick.We have a Clearview woodburner which has an easy to light facility. Kiln-dried eco logs are supplied for your toasty fires but there's underfloor heating too.For outdoors, there are rattan chairs with cushions and deckchairs. Lots of walks from the door (small well behaved dogs welcome). Snettisham is right next to equally lovely village of Heacham and close to Hunstanton. Sandringham is a 10 minute drive away with a fantastic free play area for all of the princes and princesses. A spacious 3 bedroom Victorian cottage situated within the quaint village of Snettisham. The cottage provides the home from home feel and is extremely well equipped.Snettisham provides everything you may need, there are two pubs, The Queen Victoria and The Rose and Crown, The Rose and crown is particually good for food and has a lovely beer garden.There is also a Bistro The Old Bank, you will need to book in advance, and also a breakfast/lunch/brunch place called The Old Store, they also sell home made bread and great cakes and pastries.We have a CoOp that has great opening hours and a great selection of last minute food and drink including fresh bread.At the other end of the road where Station road turns into Beach road is the Granary, great for breakfasts, lunches, homemade cakes , scones and Quiches etcIf you enjoy antiques upstairs at the granary is a treasure trove of goodies, there are also a few shops opposite the Granary.If wildlife and nature are your thing there is a wildlife park in the village where you can bottle feed lamb, have pony rides, and go on their famous Deer safari, of course we have Ken Hill too and a RSPB nature reserve.Snettisham and Hunstanton are the gateway to the North Norfolk coast line, the beaches are all fabulous.One of our favorites is Old Hunstanton for it's beach, handy toilets and Old Hunstaton Beach cafe serving loads of freshly cooked breakfasts and lunches, the is also La Strange barns there which is great for a great variety of art and crafts for sale.The cottage feedback in our visitors book describes the cottage as being bigger than you think and very well equiped.We have added extra refrigerator space too with the addition of a counter top fridge. Built in 1876 and full of original period features, Moongazer is a pretty, two bedroom Carstone cottage, situated in the enchanting Norfolk village of Heacham. This beautifully presented cottage is full of character, with exposed beams, stone walls and original floorboards. It is ideal for families, friends, or couples, who are wishing for a relaxing coastal break. It is within walking distance of the beach as well as a wide variety of the village amenities (shops, pubs, restaurants). The famous Norfolk Lavender Farm is also within walking distance, along with so many other local attractions. Enjoy the miles of sandy beaches and for bird watchers, visit the R.S.P.B coastal nature reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell. The Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton is just 2 miles away and Sandringham House and Gardens only 5 miles. Conveniently, the village is on the coastal bus route too. There are so many wonderful places to explore! Inside the cottage, is a cosy living room with a wood burning stove, a spacious kitchen with dining area, a utility area with washing machine and a downstairs bathroom, with a full size bath and rainfall shower. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, as well as a WC. One bedroom has a double bed and a quaint window seat- to watch the world go by. The second bedroom includes twin full size single beds, suitable for both adults and children, with a skylight- just perfect for moon gazing!Moongazer cottage is set back off the road with an enclosed gravelled area to the front of the house. On street parking is available opposite the cottage. Fuzzy Duck Cottage is a pretty traditional cottage, approximately 120 years old, situated in the centre of the thriving village of Heacham. The rental costs shown are for up to 4 people using the cottage. However, the cottage does have a 3rd bedroom with bunk beds which can be used for an extra fee. Please ask for details. Within close walking distance of all the village amenities and a 15 minute walk to the beach, the cottage provides an ideal base for a holiday in North Norfolk. The accommodation has been carefully refurbished to a very high standard throughout. Real fire ideal for cosy nights in.. A selection of videos are also available, plus a number of board games. Large enclosed rear garden with BBQ & nicely appointed Summer House. The cottage is always spotlessly clean & a generous welcome pack greets all guests. We also have a travel cot & high chair. We have stair gates at both the top & bottom of the open staircase. There are 3 bikes in the garden shed - whilst these are not part of the cottage rental - you are very welcome to use them, but you so at your own risk. Walking distance from 3 pubs that all serve good food, 1 traditional butchers, 2 x Fish and Chip Shops. For lovers of continental food, the village also offers an Indian & Chinese Restaurant. Heacham also offers a Tesco Express & Lidl store for your everyday essentials. Hunstanton (5 min drive) has "full-blown" Tesco/Sainsburys. For golfers there's a number of fine golf courses within close proximity, including Heacham Manor. For those that love wild life, its not unusual to see seals swimming from the beach, with seal trips also available in nearby Blakeney. Heacham is also ideally suited for bird watching being only a short distance from a number of brilliant nature reserves (Titchwell/Snettisham). There are 3 sets of (old) binoculars in cottage.For those with younger children/teenagers there's the funfair at Hunstanton. Hopefully our reviews of the cottage speak for themselves!Generally our change over days are Saturday to Saturday - but during less busy periods we are happy to discuss other days.
