Paradisus by Meliá Salinas Lanzarote – All Inclusive – Adults Only

Just home from an incredible stay. I travelled on my own and am so glad I chose this beautiful hotel. I was I was so sad to leave. This hotel offers the perfect mix of relaxation, entertainment and culture. The architecture and decor is beautiful. It’s clear that it’s a beautiful place and the attention to detail is second-to-none but it’s the staff that make this hotel what it is. They’re so warm and welcoming. From the moment I stepped inside, everything was perfect. The service throughout was incredible, from the Reserve check-in, to the restaurants and bars, the cleaning, turndown service and beyond. Special shout out to Chandni in the Reserve who gave me a tour on check in. She was incredible. I highly recommend booking the Reserve package. The check-in process was exceptional. I arrived early to a glass of bubbles in hand and could avail of the lounge while I waited a short amount of time for my room to be ready. You’ll be personally escorted to your room where your bags are waiting for you. The a la carte breakfast at Reserve also deserves a mention - Lovely to enjoy the first part of your day on the private terrace at Samira The Reserve pool area is an oasis of tranquility. Gorgeous space to relax in. Jonathan at the bar is the master of cocktails. Absolutely delicious - make sure you try a violet piña colada! Carolina and Noemi were incredible too. The local handmde soaps and creams with a card as a parting gift was a lovely touch and I appreciated the late check out. Another special shout out to the entertainment team- Carlos, Hoda, Barbara, Armando, Raquel to name a few. They were so warm and welcoming and bring a great energy to the hotel. I signed up for lots of activities because of them. They really made the trip memorable. The mix of activities at the hotel is perfect. From art, to wine tasting and sampling of local jam and cheese, to beach volley, to yoga pilates and spin by the beach, and excursions to local attractions like El Grifo Winery in La Geria -there is something for everyone. The team makes you feel very included. The variety of live music was also a standout. From the candlelight piano session Rock and Latin dance in Ginger, to DJ and guitar in Alula, it was all so enjoyable to sit and enjoy a drink to. All the bar and waiting staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you. The food options were great. I really enjoyed all the options, especially the Italian- Cappella and tapas lunch at La Graciosa. The main buffet had a wide selection of foods any time I went. I never felt like I needed to leave the hotel, but the beach-front location made it perfect for a walk along the coast. All in all I had an amazing trip and I can’t wait to visit again. This is a special place.

We came to this hotel 20th dec 2024 for a little mini break before the Xmas madness . We still here now. Hotel… Is clean and spacious and lovely very nice and Xmassy also. Rooms We was on first floor had sea and pool View Was clean and lovely Had a lovely balcony Staff… very friendly and nothing is too much trouble, but service is just rather slow .especially when trying to get a drink or tea ect Food… Unfortunately this let us down badly The selection was good and the falvour was there , but was alway so cold … the hot plate wasn’t hot enough to keep food hot for long , breakfast was alway so cold no matter what time we went Entertainment Was boring especially for Xmas time one band every night at 9pm. This hotel is for older older generation for sure. Not good for anyone under 40 . We are 44 -46 and for us it full of to many older older people 60 plus Not much to do outside of hotel either a few shops and some bars Beach was lovely and sandy Pool we didn’t use as it been freezing here at the Moment But looks nice Spa Massage was lovely But spa itself was 15 each for an hour and it wasn’t worth it should have been free considering we spent a lot on massages. Weather at this time of year is so bad. Lanzorate itself is to windy and not for us .

Spent 2 weeks here and pre booked the Royal Level. From arrival by taxi to our departure the staff were amazing - nothing was ever too much trouble and always so friendly. The staff are definitely the hotel’s greatest asset. Special thanks to our concierge Carmen and also to Carmen on the main reception. The rooms and public spaces are kept spotlessly clean and the hotel is a joy to walk around. I only awarded the hotel 4 stars because the dining room have still failed to address ( after many comments and promises from management ) the fact that a lot of their food is not marked with allergens or indeed what the food actually is. I felt a lot of food was denied me because of my intolerances ( especially the made up salads and the cheeses). Had they been marked I could have made an informed choice! If you have a dairy intolerance they only food available for dessert is fruit - not even sorbet on offer. The gluten free section in the morning was poor - no separate toaster for bread or microwave to warm the rolls - and if you are gluten intolerant you know how awful the bread and rolls are without toasting or warming. I know this complaint won’t affect many people but it is major if you have dietary problems. I would add though that the quality and variety of food on offer was excellent. Overall it’s a wonderful hotel and we would return .
