Nazaret Apartments

We stayed at the Nazaret Apartments as a bit of a last minute holiday for five days at the end of October. We booked through Jet2 and had a two bedroom family apartment. We were very pleasantly Surprised by the size cleanliness and modern appearance of the apartments. Because we had the corner unit with the extra bedroom we had a large living area and two good sized bedroom. All of the fittings were modern and the beds were comfortable. Our apartment doors opened out onto the pool area where we were also delighted to find the main pool was heated to a very comfortable temperature. (The other pool by the restaurant is not heated and a little chilly in October) The location of the hotel is excellent for Costa Teguise, being close to the beach and close the restaurants. We had a hire car and parking was a little tricky, it’s free in this area, but you may have to park a little way down the road. We had the half board dining plan, and the food was basic but good, with a few options each night. Because there are so many good restaurants nearby I’d recommend considering breakfast only. However for us the additional cost of half board wasn’t that much and it was nice to have a coupe of nights where we could just grab a quick bite to eat from the hotel. Breakfast was good. There is a supermarket on the same block, where you can buy snacks water etc. and the kitchenette in the apartment was sufficient to cook a basic meal and had a dish washer. But the cost of dining out in Costa Teguise is very reasonable, so why bother. ;) Would definitely come back to the Nazareth Apartments.

Returned August 23 2024 Stayed in the mansion apartments on the first floor. Self catering. It done everything we needed. Small kitchen with kettle,fridge. Dated bathroom but it did what it needed to do. Staff very helpful. Room cleaned. Pool bar offering drinks and food at lunchtime. Three pools to chose from and terraces to relax on. As self catering we ate out and mixed the times ie breakfast in the morning or lunch or an evening meal. Can not fault the food and restaurants in the town which is 5 min walk. Felt the food was great value ie breakfast at Kitty's a 10 min walk left was about 22e for three of us with drinks. Trust me we tried Chinese,steakhouse,Italian,Tapas, Bar meals and was so impressed by the quality. The windy island provides a nice breeze. The square offers a chilled atmosphere in the evenings with Irish bars and football. No trouble at all. Beach walk is about ten minutes and offers great place for coffee or milkshakes along the coastal walk. With the apartments so close to the square I did not hear any noise. If your looking for a nice place to stay and have an relaxed holiday then this is it.

This was our second time staying here, having been in summer 2023. We absolutely love the complex and could not wait to return this year for a much needed break. However, the noise this summer was horrendous. We were in apartment 304, which backed onto a street with a parking area and commercial units. We believe the noise was coming from Decades and it went on all night every night for 2 weeks. Live music each night, shouting, car alarms, glass bottles being emptied into bottle banks right outside our window, it was awful. I know this is nothing to do with these apartments but I do believe it will prevent people from returning. I suppose there’s nothing that can be done so try to avoid apartments in Block 3!

Have been to Nazret apartments previously a few years ago and the evening meals were superb. On that trip we did intend eating out but the food was so good we stayed in and had a bottle of wine with the meal. Not so this trip. It was completely the opposite. Booked half board intending, obviously, to eat in every evening but the food was so bad we ate out every night. It was bland, monotonous and cold. The few meals we did have we had to microwave to get them up to temperature. The breakfasts were very good but again were cold and had to be microwaved. This said the apartments are fantastic. They are spotless and well equipped if you want to stay in (we didn't) with everything you need down to hand blenders. The one great problem is the noise. If you stay in Block 3 you get the nightclub till the very early hours and if you stay in Block 1 you get the dustbin men at 7am every day with bins being dragged over a gravel road right outside your window. I have not stayed in Block 2 so cannot comment on the noise there (there is another night club at the rear). Having said all that we would definitely return. The position is brilliant for the restaurants, buses, shops etc., but would not eat here. Shame about that because the food used to be so good.

Nice apartment, very well equipped and in a very central location. Very quiet at night - apart from the bins being emptied at 7 am each morning! We had half board - breakfast was very good, nice selection of hot and cold food. Evening meal was OK, not a huge selection, food often not terribly hot, vegetables always overcooked. Plenty of sunbeds around the pools, but why do hotels etc allow people to "reserve" beds all day by sticking a towel on them - before 8 am in some cases? There should simply be a rule that if a bed is unattended, say for longer than 30 minutes, you can place any towels to one side and use it yourself. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

Excellent time spent, lovely apartment and area, fabulous weather, lovely places to eat. The place was lovely and clean, with very helpful staff. The pools were cleaned everyday and there were friendly staff. There was a problem with the bedroom being too near a nightclub and it was very noisy.
