INNSiDE by Meliá Fuerteventura - Adults only

A very relaxing ‘Adult Only’ hotel on the south of the island. It you are looking to get some R&R in a quiet and rare white beach location, then this is a great choice. The hotel is positioned in a hillside and looks over a very long white beach with a lagoon in front. The lagoon fills and empties depending on the moon (we never saw the lagoon filled in our week. I think it fills and empties on a 2 week cycle). The hotel is well maintained and everything was clean (communal areas thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis) and all staff friendly and helpful. We opted for a ‘studio’ which comes with a slightly bigger room than the standard ones plus a stand alone bath and a more extensively stocked mini fridge which was refreshed every day. I’m sure a standard room would have been fine as they all look over to the beach. The hotel has a lovely pool which wasn’t too busy and there was no ‘reserving sunbeds’ policy which was nice. The pool is a good length for those who like to clock up some lengths. The pool staff were very attentive and alway on hand to help with moving sun shades around when needed. Beach/pool towels are included and could be changed with the pool staff. The spacious restaurant is self service with a lovely grill on the go at both breakfast & dinner. The food choices are extensive and we found most options to be of excellent quality except the puddings which looked nice but never tasted quite so good but the fresh fruits choice was good so we opted for that after a few days! We were allocated a breakfast and dinner time but because the hotel wasn’t full, it didn’t seem to matter when you arrived for breakfast or dinner. We enjoyed the Pilates & Yoga classes which are included in the price of the room. The classes can be booked at reception and run on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 8am The classes were lead by Annika and David from Inspira Fitness who are excellent instructors and able to cater for mixed ability classes. There is also a gym to use which was empty every time we visited. There is little else around in the immediate vicinity (which adds to the charm of this hotel). The closest town is Costa Calma where there are a few shops, including a Spar to buy extra provisions but to be honest, that is the only reason to visit. It is a 20-30 minute walk from the hotel on a small back road. If you want to explore further, it is probably worth hiring a car which is what we did. The only disappointment was the lack or wind for water sports at this time of the year (November). Apparently, the best time to visit for water sport is March - August so if visiting outside of these months then it is a risk to book and pay for classes in advance. There were several other hotel guests who were also hoping to do water sports so the lack of wind at this time of the year is not widely advertised. As repeat guests, we have always appreciated the high level of service at Innside Fuerteventura. Many staff members truly go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. However, I've noticed a decline in communication between departments. This has led to some minor inconveniences and delays in response to requests. The breakfast continues to be fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options. Unfortunately, the quality of dinner has noticeably decreased, which is disappointing considering the increased room rates. Overall, our stay was still enjoyable, but I hope these areas can be addressed for future guests

This was my third visit to this hotel, which I had previously considered an excellent choice. I even recommended it enthusiastically to family and friends. However, this time, I am deeply disappointed by the dramatic decline in service quality and the complete disregard for customer requests. Prior to my arrival, I made a request – both well in advance and closer to the check-in date – that we required a room on the upper floor. My husband and I are light sleepers, and he also suffers from insomnia, making this request particularly important for our comfort. The hotel assured us they would do their best, stating, "Leave it with us, we'll take care of it within the limits of availability." Sadly, these turned out to be nothing but empty words. Not only was our request entirely ignored, but we were also assigned the worst room possible: directly adjacent to loud construction work from the hotel next door. Drilling noises were constant throughout the day, making it impossible to relax. The terrace was utterly unusable due to the noise. ( waste of money) and we were forced to play music inside the room just to drown out the racket. Adding insult to injury, the advertised “sea view” was extremely partial and not as described. The most frustrating part? Other guests who arrived on the same day were assigned top-floor rooms with far better views and much less noise. This makes it abundantly clear that our request was simply disregarded. When we raised our concerns at reception, the staff were dismissive and even hostile, making us feel unwelcome and ignored. This lack of care completely ruined our stay and tarnished the reputation of a hotel I once trusted. It's obvious that customer satisfaction is not a priority here – all they care about is taking your money, regardless of the quality of the experience. I will never return to this property, and I certainly won’t recommend it to anyone. The service has drastically deteriorated, and the management seems indifferent to addressing or valuing guest concerns. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere .
