PlayaOlid All Inclusive

Cannot fault this hotel in any way.This was our first holiday abroad in five years and it did not disappoint.The suite was lovely and everything was in good working order,any problems we had were minor and dealt with quickly. All the staff from recently right through to the cleaners were extremely quick and efficient.A shout out must go to Fabian and Hector who always had time for a chat and seemed to always be on duty day and night.The restaurant staff were amazing especially the manager who would take time to chat and keep the young children amused. Reception were extremely helpful trying to help us when we didn't get picked up for one of our trips and we managed to rebook it with the company we originally booked with. All in all we enjoyed our holiday and would visit this hotel again.

was bit worried about some reviews but how wrong was i nice little 3 star hotel food ok especially breakfast we went out for food a few times at night drinks ok cocktails made with slush but fine beer amstrell it’s close to bars beech great location room had sea view pool view and jet spar bath in room and 48 inch tv on the wall place is spotless very clean it was Ai and the same price for us two as a decent self catering it’s a no brainer

Currently on the last evening of a one week stay here. We don’t usually do all inclusive holidays and only planned on the odd meal at the hotel. However , the food has been excellent I must say. We’ve eaten in every single day. Plenty of options for breakfast and dinner. The food available has been absolutely delicious with plenty of variety to choose from. The staff have been very friendly and helpful , from the cleaning staff to the waiting staff. The hotel is ideally situated just a few minutes walk from the beach. There are plenty of shops / bars etc around. The view from our balcony was great too and perfect to sit out on in the evening. There was also entertainment on in the evening. Would recommend staying and would certainly return.

Getting the runaround to the wrong room by reception wasn't a good start after a long flight, nor were the 60 stairs to the right room. Not a problem unless you're howfing heavy suitcases. Yes, there was a lift for the 1st 20 but hardly worth waiting for without them. Nice big, 1 bedroom apartment. Light & airy. South facing balcony with seaview. Single bed in living space had a badly stained sheet but as no-one was using it, it wasn't an issue. Comfortable mattresses, air-conditioning in both living spaces. Great shower, plastic shower curtain, not so great. Apartment has sleeping for 5, dining chairs for 4 & seating on the balcony for 2! Owner lives onsite and keeps the restaurant staff on their toes. Chef must have the most boring job ever. Similar selection daily, twice. Although the soups & desserts were well varied & delicious. Busy periods may mean you're ushered to eat in the area designated for families. Didn't use the pool(s) but those that did appeared content enough. Hotel on a steep incline but scooters & mobility scooters are everywhere for rental, making sight seeing easier for the less mobile. Wouldn't recommend hiring a car, parking is a premium. Local bus stop on the doorstep. The local staff are lovely. Head receptionist not so much. When I reported the orange light on the bedroom telephone had flashed, I was told "not possible". It did it several times but her dismissive tone left it unreported. All in all, a nice hotel. Busy, somewhat impersonal but if you like Tenerife with all-inc, not to be discounted.

The hotel is situated in a nice area. Local to all reaturants and shop, harbour and a beach . Although the beach isn't sandy. It has three swimming pools , the top pool for families and children plus a smaller pool for toddlers which are heated. The other pool is at the bottom of the hotel with plenty of sum loungers and a quiet area .during our stay our room was cleaned mist days except Thursdays abd Sundays. The staff are very keen and always made a room nice and tidy. One day, I came back, and I had an item of clothing, which I used as a cover-up, and it was made into a pretty bow. Could not fault any of the staff, including the dining area . They were also very keen to clear up .. no fault, but they worked really hard for the number of people coming and going. The food was all well cooked and always a variety for everyone. Even a chocolate fountain . The only thing I was disappointed in was that the bottom swimming pool should have been an adults only area . I am not the only person who thought this during our stay. Other adults' queing thought it should be adter soeaking to the in the que. There was another issue as we couldn't enter the swimming area until 10 and have to que and wait for it to open . I think for that time of year it could open at 9am and close at 7pm . The hours in the summer season change but still opening at 10 am .. Can I ask to consider the bottom pool be adults only. We really liked it there and would love to come back . Sorry, the only other comment I have is the tonic water, which I found really, really sweet, and having Ibs didn't help . To also find out that there were no decaffeinated tea bags . We had a lovely stay here and hope to return to an adult only swimming pool . Thank you to all the staff and their hard work .

We couldn't be more happier with our holiday over February half term. We chose a package holiday through Jet2 as we had used them last October and they were excellent then to. It's important for us that we find hotels and locations suitable for families and Playaolid was perfect. Free childs place, flights that suited us from Liverpool and a location that is very close to Tenerife south airport. Hotel is suitably located. Just slightly up the hill, but not a problem for a 5 and 7 year old. Proximity is not long to Fanabe beach, you can walk it in 10 minutes. Arrival at the hotel, we were met by a friendly and helpful lady who checked us in and sent us off to have lunch whilst we were able to store our luggage in a locked room, great customer service and we appreciated that. Room was spacious. Plently of storage to unpack the cases. Kids are still young so they shared the pull out sofa bed. Kids said it was comfortable for them. Good sized bathroom. Little kitchenette. Good sized balcony area. All the staff we met were friendly, helpful and always polite. Wish we knew everyones names, as everyone was brilliant. But thanks to Bryan and Cynthia on the pool bar. Food was excellent, lots of choice and quality was very good. The all inclusive alcoholic drinks were good. Amstel was the beer and my wife drank Cava. Kids favoured the orange soda and there was also lemonade and cola. Not quite like the brands but they were happy. There was ice pops and ice slushies included and the chance to buy ice creams from the bar areas. I can't recommend this hotel enough. They gave us a holiday to remember and one day we'll come back.
