Tagoro Family & Fun Costa Adeje

Lovely welcome. Room large and had everything we needed. Staff friendly and helpful. BUT this is a family hotel. Be prepared for lots of noise and chaos- as kids on holiday should be. The pool area clean, lots of sunbeds. Towels start getting put out at 5am- one woman reserved 14 sunbeds. Gym was well equipped and quiet. Food- very noisy. Personally I wouldn’t have let my kids (we are talking 5-7 yr olds)help themselves to a buffet for obvious reasons but different parenting styles I guess. Food nice, loads of choice, staff working really hard! Hotel is about 20 minute walk to the main areas or taxi ride costing €5. Brilliant Spa across the road- aqua thermal. A must do! We did check out after 4 days (booked for 7) to find an adults only hotel - needed some quiet! BUT it if we had our kids with us it would have been perfect. Thank you to hotel cleaners who noticed it was my hubby’s birthday and got us a card and bottle of fizz. Also, to the lovely Dutch student who checked us in- guessi?? She was just so sweet and helpful. A bright future ahead.

We booked tagoro through on the beach so everything was sorted, the flights, hotel and transfer. Everything ran very smoothly. The hotel itself smells amazing as you walk through the reception which makes it very inviting and welcoming. The staff are very helpful and show you to your room after check in. The room itself is clean and spacious. There were tiny little bugs we noticed where the kettle is however they were harmless and seem to only be there on a night so just don't leave food and drinks out, they did not impact our stay. The food is good, a little bit repetitive each day and is hit and miss, some nights I would eat so much my belly hurts and other nights I would only eat a little bit due to not much i liked, but I think that is my personal preference. My children loved the whole holiday experience, the entertainment was great, they were also good at involving our youngest children 2 and 1. The only thing that we didn't enjoy was the actual evening entertainment didn't start until 9:15 and another at 10:15, this we found was too late as we had young children, we would have loved to watch them but our children were too unsettled at this point so we went back to our room. Luckily we was in room 107 so we could hear the music anyway so could slightly enjoy from the balcony. We would like to give a huge shout out to the ladies on the photo booth, they were amazing especially one of the ladies (not sure of her name but she had a lip piercing) she made my 9 year old daughter feel amazing and they had a really good relationship. The cleaners are second to none, they deserve a medal because our children caused carnage and they were happy to clean our room every day! Amazing service! Overall we loved our time at this resort and we would come back again but probably once the kids are a little bit older so they can enjoy more of the activities. We have just returned from our second year running of our pre Xmas break at this hotel. Room - We booked with Jet2 and had emailed the hotel to request rooms together if possible and were informed we were able to select our room for a small fee which we done. We chose 016 and 017 as we had stayed in 017 last year and liked the location (there can be a bit of noise from the entertainment but it didn’t bother us and didn’t disturb our 3 year olds sleep). The terrace of 016 gets a lot of sun while 017 was more shaded - this was perfect for us as we are a mix of sun and shade group. One massive improvement for us was the improved storage this year. The revamp of storage in the living area was a game changer as it’s always my gripe with hotels. Location - yes it’s up a hill but it’s only a 10/15 minute walk down to the Fanabe beach area. We done the walk up and down at least once, sometimes twice a day and with average fitness (and pushing a buggy!) managed fine. A taxi to Siam Mall (on the crazy windy day otherwise we would have walked) cost 8€ and a taxi back from the Safari Centre in Las Americas was 14€. Food/drink - plenty of choice with some things cooked fresh in front of you. Lunch was by far our favourite in terms of choice. We did eat out most nights which was always our plan but couldn’t fault the nights we did use the restaurant. Drinks were as you expect from an AI at this price point - not the best, not the worst. One thing we did miss from last year was the hut at the splash pool where you could get hot drinks, fizzy soda and water. Although there is a water fountain and freezer where you can pick up ice creams. There was some work ongoing on the hut while we were there - not sure if that is to renovate or remove though. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider Tagoro in the future if we were returning for a pre Xmas stay.

Great family hotel. Value for money beyond our expectation. Food was always good in the buffet- salads, plain and some pre-done options always for lunch and dinner. Multiple meats, both fresh from the grill and in made dishes- different types of paella every day& night (and it differed from lunch to dinner).... desserts from pastries/cakes to chocolate fountains.... really the food is very good. For breakfast there's even cold cava- if you want it.... not quite cavier served at this hotel- but cava none the less. The pool is lovely (bit on the cool side but hello it's warm outside). Splashpark is great for smallies, only 50cm deep and plenty of beds available all day. Towels are €20 each deposit and great quality- you can swap every day- we kept ours for the week (a small.step to save the planet). Pool bar does drinks and food all day (burgers and hot dogs / toasties- make your own- good idea). Entertainment team is super- always something different on every day in the pool area. Shout out to the chef with the multiple masks- horse mask, gorilla mask and generally great fun Kids club was good- open every day from 10am and you can collect children whenever uou wanted. Arts and crafts every day- making pirate hats and eye patches - cutting/colouring/glueing- super skills for smallies to be practising... The staff really are above and beyond fabulous-- we arrived at 4.30am with 2 small kids and milk was gotten for us and our bag brought to our room. Anytime you went to reception you were greeted by super helpful & smiley staff. Walk down to Costa adeje isn't far-10mins to the seaside- lovely little strip all be it a strip but not that commercial. We got a super room, with a huge terrace, ideal for a 2 year old to be contained. The playground was closed the week we were there' not their fault but that was OK. Cleaning staff were lovely. One tip for the hotel, and possibly something they don't want to change but dinner is from 6.30, so when you have under 5s - would be lovely to even serve from 6.15. Went to one mini disco-kids loved it. Didn't go to any of the shows so can't comment there.

We came on a family holiday for a week and we’ve really enjoyed our stay. There’s different activities for the kids in the pool each day , the entertainers are brilliant especially Stephano he’s really made our holiday. Definitely coming back next year!

We had been to Tagoro many years ago and after deciding we wanted a holiday in the sun for Easter 2025 we chose to go back to Tagoro and really loved it - I have got to say that the staff on Reception are probably the best I have ever experienced and we’ve been on many holidays over the years - they are just amazing, helpful and extremely friendly. The Food was good quality. Loved the views out to sea from the upper floors - it’s a great place for children
