H10 Ocean Dunas - Adults Only

Had a really good few days so far. We are here for 2 weeks. We were offered free drinks on arrival whilst checking in. Given our wristbands and offered help with cases - we are on first floor so it was easy to get to our room. The bed wasn't so comfy but the staff told house keeping about it and they put a topper on it. Also shower drain wasn't working too well so maintenence arrived quickly and fixed it in minutes. Any problems just tell the staff and they're quick to sort it. It's so close to the beach here which I love. You can relax on beach and swim in the sea. I actually learnt to swim in the sea yesterday which is fantastic so I'll be using the hotel pool today - which is apparently heated so can't wait for that ! If you're half board like we are then you get a nice breakfast and evening meal. (That's what the wrist bands are for) Breakfast is a buffet with, fruit, meats, cheese, yogurts, cereal.. There is different breads to choose from which you can toast. Plus eggs, sausages, beans, bacon etc.. ! Yum. Dinner is basically a buffet of starters - soup, salad, bread and sometimes different items to try. Then you choose from the menu what you'd like for dinner. So far we have had the salmon, lasagna and prawn tagliatelle. Very nice. If you want to switch dinner for lunch just tell reception. Smoking and vaping is not allowed around the dinner area. So unfortunately if you're a smoker you'll need to smoke in the area provided which is further down. There is a seating area with ash trays. No smoking around pool either ! It's very quiet here and relaxing. Mostly older people here. No children which is nice as it's adults only. So if you like a very quiet holiday with no entertainment or kids then this is the perfect hotel for you. We are missing having some entertainment to be honest and some music.. but it's not so bad.. There's plenty of places near by that can offer that. All in all a great time so far and the staff are brilliant. Also - water machine is located in library room so you can fill your water bottle up whenever needed for free. :)

I cannot fault the staff at H10 hotels from start to finish. They are exceptional! I am so very grateful for a wonderful hotel stay. The hotel is beautiful and the breakfasts are fantastic. Overall lovely clean hotel. Great location and lovely big room. It loses a star due to very poor breakfast, more so the hot food not being hot and eggs fired or scrambled were either over done or half cooked. Even the water for cup of tea out of the machine was not boiling. Also lunch does not start til 1pm which is a first.

Returning to h10 hotels in Corralejo for approx 12 years, couple times each year and second time to the Ocean Dunas (which we are currently here) Room is lovely although looking on web page we booked a Junior Suite and believe we have been allocated a Superior Room sea view ! Very nice but noisey with pubs opposite and emptying of bottles at 6am ! What we do notice is NO turn down service which was previous, and no choccy treat Breakfast have to say is self service and all the so called “hot food” is awful cold and despite previous replies from management on TA stating would be looked into seems nothing has changed would rate the brekky as 5.5 in honesty Have to say as others have staff are very good work hard and should be complimented to their superiors Probably back to Ocean Dreams for us, sorry to say

Lovely hotel, great location, beach virtually on doorstep, and on main street close to old town. Surrounded by bars and restaurants, enjoyed lunch at Palm Beach, No Name, Rebelde, and That's Amore cafes. Breakfast and dinner plenty of choice and nice quality. Pool nice and quiet, plenty of sunbeds available. Superior double room was allocated, in garden area, was fine for us, is close to McCarthys bar which has live music most nights, 9:30pm to 11pm, but not too intrusive, depending on your noise sensitivity. Staff are friendly and professional, Consuelo in restaurant was courteous and attentive, and Aleja makes a lovely Old Fashioned cocktail.

Second visit to this wonderful hotel, and again it did not disappoint. This hotel really is an absolute gem. Everything about it is top notch. The rooms are spotless and roomy, and the beds are auper comfortable, we both slept incredibly well. We were half board and once again the food was delicious. Breakfast was a delight, plenty of choice, and constantly topped up. The evening meals were always superb. The pool area is beautiful, always quiet and never any need to fight for a sunbed. The pool was cleaned daily, and the lifeguard disposed of any rubbish and fallen debris continuously throughout the day. The staff are all incredibly friendly and attentive, and even surprised us with a bottle of Cava, chocolates and balloons in our room to celebrate my birthday, such thoughtful gesture. Thank you to all at H10 Ocean Dunas, we can't wait to return!
