Bristol Sunset Beach - Holiday Apartments

Nice hotel near the old town, very short walk to nearest supermarkets and only 10 minutes into the music square and the sea front,also next to the bus stop which was useful. The apartment was well equipped with a good shower and very comfortable bed, everywhere was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area was very small but there were sun beds available if we needed one. Breakfast was served on the sun terrace on the roof of block 2, good selection of cold meats,cheese, scrambled eggs and pastries, vegan milk was available but not vegan spread!, other than that breakfast was very good. Music from the roof terrace was not a problem,it wasn't very loud and was finished well before midnight. Overall it was a very good stay, would happily go again

OK, Lots of reviews on here so my Honest opinion..We are a couple in our late 50's who are not Party Animals, we were very dubious about the Rooftop Bar after all the Reviews , but researched and thought the location was ideal .I emailed before we arrived we wanted a Quiet Room away from the Rooftop Bar and on a Low floor , On arrival we were put in Block 2 (Rooftop Bar and on highest floor (3) so not a.great start ...We went back to Reception to voice our concern to be told they couldn't move us until Monday .... We said OK but weren't Happy ...The 1st night (Saturday) we had bought some Ear plugs and we could hear Nothing ...we went to Bed 11pm and the Music was on until 12pm and with our earplugs we had a fantastic sleep. We actually didn't move rooms as Sunday was fine and Mon and Tues they are closed. My advice Bring Ear plugs and you'll be fine !! Breakfast included was sufficient,it is the same everyday with no variation so we went out for a Couple of breakfasts to Break it up a bit . Staff at Reception and Brakfast excellent. Location is 10 mins to main Part with lots to eat and Music Square playing live music every Night. Bus Stop opposite the Hotel...thoroughly Recommend No 8 bus to El Cottilo lovely place. Pool is very Small and we didn't even try to get a Sunbed , so if your Pool People then maybe this isn't for you .

I must say I was very impressed with the apartment it was spacious and clean and modern. Everything you would need lots of pans, plates, cutlery and a iorn and ironing board ( bonus) . The receptionist gives you two keys one for your room and the other for the side door as reception closes up at night so you have to use the side door to get in. Shower hit and miss with the temperature going cold but it soon warms back up when you turn the dial to high on the boiler in the kitchen cupboard, it does takes a while but it gets there. Bedroom was modern with white sliding wardrobes lots of hanging space and long mirror on the wall, the only thing I thought was missing was drawers as there was no where to put any makeup and other small items other than that everything was great Our balcony was always in the shade so no point in sitting out on it at that time of year. Roof top bar is great in the evenings to watch the world go by the cocktails are reasonably priced and very good plus you get 10% discount if you’re staying in the apartments but, If you are staying near the rooftop bar it can get quiet noisy when there is a live band on and it doesn’t end till 12pm maybe earlier some nights other nights it’s really not that bad with the music on. We were in block 2 I’d have been gutted if we stayed below the rooftop bar block. Pool is so small and absolutely freezing cold 🥶 not enough loungers approximately 18 which got hogged all day we did manage to actually get on around 4pm Good location not that far from the square and shops, and the main supermarkets. I would stay here again just not near the roofbar

Great location, helpful staff, clean, reasonable price. Would recommend and would happily return. No complaints.

Just back having spent two weeks at Bristol Sunset Beach. We were put directly underneath nightclub and had extremely loud noise until midnight. In the morning at 7 we could hear furniture being moved probably by cleaners. Also a group of boys in room next door up till 5 making and a lot of noise. Luckily we were moved a couple of days later to ground floor. Unfortunately we could still hear the music but had quieter neighbours. We would not recommend staying here unless young and happy to go to nightclub or go out all night. Apartment itself was reasonably clean. Had towel and linen change and a clean twice a week. Kitchen area small and not very well stocked. Our apartment didn’t get any sun and probably half the apartments in the complex were the same. Definitely would not recommend staying there.

Lovely hotel, fantastic location. Stayed here 22-29 June in a ground floor one bedroom apartment in block 1. This was ideal as we had a little patio area and could hear the music from the rooftop bar (which was stunning by the way) but weren’t bothered by it. The apartments were well equipped and comfortable and the fan in the bedroom was fine. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the common areas easy to get around. Drinks in the rooftop bar were reasonable. The pool didn’t open till 11 am but that was because there is no sun on that area till then. We never struggled for a sunbed either. It’s probably not that great for young kids as if shelves deeply but it was perfect for adults. Only 2 umbrellas though which is prob the only criticism. Lovely hotel, fantastic facilities and brilliant staff. Go here!
