Just come back after staying and what a chilled out little gem ... stunning views, plenty of wood for the fire, plenty of breakfast choices and fresh coffee. Hot water and a giant bath that we didn't try out and plenty of space to spend time together or reading/listening to a podcast on our own. Owners are lovely people and lots of good changes to come

We went to Kingaroy for the Labour Day long weekend and stayed at Hillview Cottages. We stayed in a particularly quirky little cottage known as “The Church.” According to our host, the cottage was originally a church in the nearby little community of Memerambi. The cottage was incredibly peaceful with beautiful scenery looking towards the Wondai State Forest. It had everything you could need including a spacious living area, kitchen and bathroom that included a spa. Continental breakfast was included and there was no shortage of food to get the day off to a great start. We stayed for two nights and could easily have stayed for longer. There are numerous things to do in and around Kingaroy and Hillview Cottages is a great spot to launch out from. The cottages are located a little outside of the town but that adds to the charm. We will certainly be back! Thanks to Sheralyn and Dan for their hospitality.

Trying to work out what exactly made this such a special stay. Was it the incredibly warm welcome from our host, was it the themed cottage, was it the sunset or was it the friendly wave from the farm next door as they went about their afternoon chores? Or maybe it was the local port left as a sampler for after dinner or the spa bath overlooking the sunset. I think everything. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you are wanting to get away from it all. We stayed in the one bedroom cottage and it was perfect for us.

Absolute perfection! Can sleep up to 10, so perfect if attending a wedding. Fireplace (with firewood), lounge room, TV, fully self-contained. Breakfast included, that you cook yourself, with cereal, milk, eggs, muffins, croissants and spreads provided. Outdoor area, where you can take in the absolutely stunning views! An old working farm, each building has been converted into accommodation. No restaurant on site, not sure if you can get deliveries, but Kingsroy is a short drive into town, where you can pick up either dinner or buy something to cook up. Can not rate it enough!

We had an overnight stay in this beautiful pocket of Kingaroy. The views are indescribable and Sherylan couldn't be more accommodating, friendly and an incredible host. Our only issue is we only stayed one night and not more. We will definitely be back to stay in the Church, but will stay longer next time. Do yourself a favour and stay at this beautiful place. Everything has been thought of, you can just enjoy it !
