New people have taken over this property. The cottages are older, but very very clean, some updating, mainly to bathrooms has been done. Tara (one of the owners) is very pleasant and helpful. There is a great little microbrew less than 5 minutes down the road with really good ribs (and other stuff), We hung out on the deck and enjoyed a wonderful night afterwards- shared this cottage with another couple travelling with us. It is about 10 minutes north of Deer Lake.

Cottage was great. And the property had a horseshow pit which was a fun bonus. It's in a nice, wide-open area. The only thing that would make it better would be if it was on the water but of course the owners can't do anything about that. The relatively new owners are very nice people who seem determined to provide an exceptional experience. It takes time to make improvements but they are on it and I would certainly book there again if I am ever again travelling in that area.
