Celtic Ross Hotel & Leisure Centre

I stay here when on business in the area. The hotel is well located, the staff are excellent and nothing is a problem. I would highly recommend!

We visited the Celtic Ross for a short break,ten days after our wedding. We couldn't have made a better choice . From the food to the customer service , everything was just perfect . The staff couldn't do enough for us , such a warm and cosy atmosphere. We really enjoyed our dinners both nights, the food is divine . There are so many lovely places to sit and relax in the hotel , the Christmas decorations were beautiful. We are just sorry we didn't choose the Celtic Ross for our wedding ! We hope to return every year doe our anniversary, the hotel far surpasses our wedding venue in the city !

My daughter and son in law just celebrated their wedding last weekend 23/11/24 at the Celtic Ross. It was wonderful from start to finish. The wedding co-ordinator was excellent and the bride and groom were so well looked after by her. The staff were fantastic - nothing was a problem to them. For anyone thinking of the Celtic Ross for a holiday or for a wedding we couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thank you for everything.

We booked for 2 nights and a dinner at a good price. We got a room with a sea view, which was nice. The room was small, but it was grand. The bathroom was old, small, and tired. The shower curtain was mouldy and smelled. There were bulbs blown, and there was sealant missing from around the sink. The restaurant and bar share the same space, and there was extremely limited relaxed seating for the bar. The food was lovely. No complaints there. The second night we had a 3 course meal. It took 55 minutes to receive our second course with no explanation given. This was unacceptable. It reflected very poorly on the restaurant. I asked for a cocktail at the bar and i was told no not tonight. The barman was a bit rude. The lounge areas are very nice and the paper was a nice touch. We didn't use the pool as the times didn't suit as there were constant swimming lessons going on. The second night there was an event on in the hotel and I didn't get to sleep until 2 am, when the music finally stopped. Then the door banging began in the halls until 4 am.

Perfect spot for touring around and sightseeing. Lovely staff, clean well kept hotel. My only winge was the tiny plates at breakfast but would definitely stay again

Very friendly staff, breakfast excellent especially with view, beds very comfortable, well maintained but will probably need sprucing up after a long summer.
