Weston House

We had a wonderful stay at The Weston House. This was our third trip to Ireland. We like to stay at one B&B for the week and take day trips. We spent 6 nights at the Weston House and travelled to the Cork area to the east and the Killarney area to the west, as well as nearby historic Macroom. The B&B was very conveniently located off the highway. Breakfast was abundant and varied as to time and content based on what we were up to for the day. The room and bath had all that we required. Peggy and Peter were very friendly and warm without being obtrusive. The grounds were lovely with magnificent hydrangea, shrubs and flowering bushes. Across the street was a great pub/restaurant that we ate at every night, The Mills Inn, that was frequented by locals and visitors alike. On Friday night there was a traditional Irish music jam session with fiddles, banjo, guitar, wooden flutes and accordion. The stay at The Weston House was a true treat off the beaten path and a glimpse into Irish heritage.

Our stayed at Peggys & Peters house was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I've been there with my husband and my 4 months old baby. She provided us a pack and play for our son. The breakfast was one of my favorites, complete and abundant, very delicious. Highly recommend, the bedroom was spacious, clean and had everything you need for your stay. Thank you Peggy. I truly appreciate what you have done for us!

Weston House was lovely, and the breakfast delicious. The house was busy with family, and paying guests in the area for the Bruce Springsteen concert, on the evening we arrived, so didn’t really get a tour of the house, but followed the delicious aroma of a full Irish Breakfast cooking in the morning and we had a lovely place set for us to enjoy it.

We are from Argentina! We visit Peggy and Peter’s amazing house as part of our road trip in Ireland. The house is amazing, it maintains the character from 200 years! Peter sang a song for us as a gift. And Peggy made us a lovely breakfast. Everything was perfect, beds are really comfortable! For sure we will come again.

We stayed 2 nights here since we had several plans for this area. We are happy we did. Peggy was kind, welcoming and shared much about her family and the area. She was interested in what we were doing daily and we followed her advice and added the ring of Baer drive--it was beautiful and fascinating! She even gave us a lesson on cooking eggs. Her homemade bread was delicious! Our rooms were very comfortable with a hair dryer and soap for the shower. Wonderful stay!

Immobile bellissimo e ben tenuto, con arredamento curato. Camera ben arredata, anche se bagno piccolo. Unica vera pecca la doccia, davvero scarsa come potenza e afflusso di acqua. Colazione top, preparata fresca dalla gentilissima gerente. Posizione per noi ottimale, perché di strada e soprattutto è stato comodissimo poter usufruire del ristorante lì accanto, tipico, con musica folk live e piatti ottimi. Inoltre per i più piccoli c'era pure un villaggio fatato.
