Crosshaven House

A fantastic experience from start to finish . The house is specious but still manages to be cosy , luxurious but comfortable at the same time , The house is close to a well stocked shop and any number of pubs so the car is not needed from when you arrive . The two kitchens are ideal for a large group and the dining room is really special for festive dinners . Noel is the perfect host and nothing is too much trouble he is always on hand to help when need and goes above and beyond to make the weekend special .

Having stayed in Crosshaven House in early Summer for a family occasion, all 12 of us, and having been treated extremely well with everything at our disposal, we repeated the visit earlier this month for another family occasion. However, on this trip, there were 14 of us including 3 young children, 3 teenagers as well as 8 adults. Out host Noel could not do enough for us even to the point where he offered me access free of charge to the electric car charger located in the grounds. We were shown, once again, the extremely well equipped kitchen as we intended to entertain some friends as well as where everything was located. I can only offer the highest praise for the accommodation, the cooking facilities, the beautiful grounds including the "Dome" and particularly the actual atmosphere within the house which really is extraordinary and offers a real relaxing stay. This was commented on by all family members as well as our guests who visited during our stay. I would recommend this magnificent home and its gardens for any family occasion as well as those seeking a truly relaxing break. I would also see it as an ideal base for corporate events where the ambiance of the house would certainly place those attending in a positive frame of mind from the moment you enter the beautiful main entrance hall. I rarely do reviews as sometimes I doubt their integrity and content and "one mans taste is another man's poison" etc!! However, Crosshaven House really is a jewel managed by Noel who really cares for his guests and their needs regardless of how insignificant the request. We had a family holiday in August. We were 15 A truly amazing house with a truly amazing host. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for our host Noel. Rooms were large and very comfortable, with many en suite. The gazebo in the garden was great for a quiet read.

An absolutely wonderful and cosy experience with family at Crosshaven House. From the comfy beds, to cosy cinema, this place has it all, even a spectacular handmade geodome in the garden where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings in comfort. A real piece of living history, the house has been lovingly restored and it is warm and welcoming. Highly recommended. Location. Comfort. Luxury. History and a geodome and cinema too!

From beginning to end, our stay at Crosshaven House was perfect! The place was immaculate from the decor to the bed linen, and the views to the (big highlight!) new geometric dome on the front lawn. We spent Saturday afternoon sitting inside it watching the world go by and the skies change, thankfully, from cloudy to blue! So well located and with attention paid to every detail, I cannot wait to go back!

We had the amazing opportunity for a family gathering at Crosshaven House and what a perfect venue it was for us. We are a large family who all brought our kids along ranging from the ages of 4-26 and every single one of us absolutely loved it. From the moment we opened that stunning blue Georgian front door and entered the house through the reception room with the library and grand piano it was complete luxury. Us older crew cherished the epically comfortable four poster beds, large luxurious bedrooms, free-standing baths situated in the most opulent bathrooms, topped off with breath-taking views of the sea...what more could you want? The large but cosy reception rooms with charming antiques, chess sets, lavish dining room, and purposeful chef's kitchen all serve to ensure that everone's needs are met. The kids had an absolute blast flying kites in the front lawn, over looking Crosshaven and slept soundly in the fantastically furnished family room. A special thanks to Noel who couldn't have been more welcoming and was accessible for any questions to help make our stay even better. We will be back!
