Kapetanios Aqua Resort

I braved it as a single mum to take me and my 12 year old son away. This place is absolutely perfect. The staff are amazing and friendly so welcoming from the cleaners, bar staff, hospitality staff and management. The life guards also the entertainment staff so encouraging and talented. The food as delicious and varied. This place is spotless. So so clean. We will definitely be visiting again thanks so much all at Kapetanis aqua resort you gave us such a lovely time. It was the recharge I needed as a busy working mummy. I felt safe and looks after. The jeep your Evis was perfect too. Also the massage wow!

Lovely welcome even thought it was late and offered a sandwhich. Room is ok - had some sort of refurb but only seems half done? Real any problem too and we’re are convinced there are bed bugs Food is great - couldn’t fault it at all - not a massive selection but all done well which I much prefer Not all drinks included - slush etc is not. Neither is iced coffee or Prosecco Pool areas are good apart from usual sun lounger wars and lack of them. Some larger group of guests were let to ‘take over’ certain areas which was a shame. Air con all good Plenty of stuff for kids playground etc but the entertainment was somewhat lacking and seems to be lacking in atmosphere Not a 4 star

Where do I even begin? Kapetanios Aqua Resort is nothing short of brilliant. We traveled as a family of seven five kids, my husband, and me and we had the most unforgettable time. Everything was just perfect. Let’s talk about the staff oh my goodness, the staff! It’s like they were plucked straight from stardust. Every single one of them brought such warmth, joy, and energy to our stay. Honestly, as amazing as the hotel and facilities were, it’s the people that made it truly special. Without them, the experience wouldn’t have been half as magical. Reception deserves a standing ovation. Laura, Vera, Tony, and Marina were beyond incredible. They didn’t just check us in they organized our entire holiday! From excursions to daily tips on where to go and what to do, they made sure we had something new and exciting every single day. And the rest of the team from entertainment staff to waiters, bar crew, and the General Manager were all just fantastic. I’d love to list every single name, but if I did, I’d be writing until next week! 😂 If you’re looking for a place that goes way beyond expectations, where you’re treated like family and your kids are constantly smiling, Kapetanios Aqua Resort is the one. We’re already dreaming about coming back! Xxx

Stayed 10 nights start of July. Arrived late at night, taken to our room which was lovely and were provided with sandwiches. Lovely family room with the girls beds made up in the living room. Air con in bedroom wasn't working properly and had an error but the maintenance team sorted it the next day when we let them know. Worked very effectively, so effective the girls were wearing the robes in tbe room to keep warm. 😂 Restaurant had a different theme each night and the food was great, good variety I felt, especially for my fussy teen. I really enjoyed the salads. They were so tasty and fresh. Snack bar at the pool was fantastic and had more variety than other hotels we've stayed at. The staff all work very hard and are so lovely. Always cheery and helpful. Entertainment team was fab, Bethany and Erin especially. My wee one misses Erin from kids club. It's in a wee room up the stairs and it's not very well advertised. Erin is great with the kids, painting, colouring in, playing games, whatever they want to do. All indoors in a lovely air conditioned room. Was good for my wee one to be out the sun for a wee bit and made some friends. The lifeguards at the pool were also so friendly as well. Overall the staff were fabulous. We had no problem getting sunbeds at either pool, the kids pool was great for the 5 yr old as she enjoyed running about and making friends then hopping in the lazy river with us or going to the bigger slides with her daddy. She enjoyed the aqua aerobics in the main pool with Bethany too. We had a later flight on our last day and weren't due to be picked up to go to the airport til 19.30 and were unable to get a late check out as the hotel was full. We were able to use the spa showers down the stairs to enable us to enjoy the pool and facilities during the day. We had heard that someone who had booked the courtesy room in advance was then cancelled the day before. Felt that was a bit rubbish as surely if uve booked it then they should be honouring it on a 1st come 1st served basis. The only issue we had and not a big thing was ants in our room. If we left the patio doors open for any longer than 30 seconds we had loads of ants wander in. Not a few but loads. I had brought mint spray for insect deterrent and used this to stop them and them wipe up. This happened a few times. The teenager liked to sit at the door on the floor with a cushion to get a heat. This soon stopped when we realised this was allowing the ants entry. We were on the ground floor near the tennis courts. Overall, a great holiday and would return.

Good holiday the place is big with lovely pools and an amazing kids pool. The staff are friendly especially Marina from the pool snack bar and Dominique in reception. The food is really nice the traditional dishes especially. A star ducked as some days they did not refresh bathing towels ( as they ran out) but always provided beach towels so it was fine. Attention to details in room cleaning isn’t great ie windows never cleaned with a toddlers and all that sunscreen we could barely see through it by the end of our stay. The hotel lacks a vibe, the entertainment team is thin and the entertainment is repeated down to the exact same play lists. Lastly the gym needs a whole refurb the treadmills need throwing out as once you set them to run they turn off. All in all a good holiday.

A great family oriented hotel with some of the hardest working staff I’ve come across. Really clean throughout the whole complex from the dining area team to pool side bar staff they really work hard at making sure that you have a stress free holiday. Well situated between the beach,local amenities and local attractions,the hotel is within walking distance from the majority of things you need and no more than half hour away by transfer if you’re looking for a day out to one of Cyprus many excursions.There’s also 4/5 well kept pools/slides/lazy rivers that kept our kids occupied for days on end. “Bethany and Erin” from the entertainment team really deserve a special mention for their tireless efforts and all round outstanding demeanour in getting to know each family /child and making sure that there’s never a dull moment ( however their volleyball refereeing skills need improvement 😂) great job guys!!!!!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇨🇾
