Coral Cypria Villa

Thought I'd review Villa Katina as I couldn't find many recent reviews on the Villa Plus Villa Katina. Firstly i want to say that this is totally factual and not based on opinions. I’m going to do a room by room review so you get a detailed idea of the Villa. LOUNGE Tiled floor hasnt been cleaned in the areas you can see, nothing had been moved things just cleaned around, so some areas really dirty and in need of of attention. Sofa is a cheap one from IKEA that’s totally knackered, legs broken, arm falling off, stained and uncomfortable. TV old but works, curtains really old, had to rehang them as they were half hung half hanging and couldn’t be closed. No Aircon in the lounge it’s disconnected. Underthe stairs hasn’t been cleaned at all. Lovely cockroach (dead) next to ironing board underneath the stairs. Downstairs toilet ok, functional albeit it would seem that someone has regrouted the tiles and made a hash of it, as most items it’s tired. KITCHEN Table and chairs ok, fridge free standing and large enough for a family shop, had to clean ½ inch of dirt and grime off top of fridge to store cereals up on it as not enough cupboard space, don’t look down the side at the floor that hasn’t been touched. Dishwasher working, free standing and the floor has been sort of cleaned around it.... dont look under it or behind it. Kitchen is the original installed I guess in 1990s when the villa was built. The units have the old kitchen smell, and are often home to ants. Cooker and hob work fine, microwave is something from 1990, sink unit ok, taps on last legs, as are the worktops and sealant around the units. Washing machine is ok, but don’t look down the side of it..... 20 years of grime. Tiled floor as other floors in need of a deep clean....in all corners. Lastly is the staircase that has an interesting wooden banister with an additional wooden piece on the landing to stop you plummeting over the top.... MAIN BEDROOM 90s fitted wardrobes gives you plenty of space but very tired. The double bed is something very special, the outside is a wooden bed frame that has a metal bed frame loosely standing inside it. The wooded bed slats are missing and to be honest the frame would collapse if anyone slept on it. The problem is that metal frame has the back two legs bent and the frame was half resting on the wooden bed frame, the middle leg in mid air, so the noise of the bed and the uncomfortableness is something to behold. I managed to bend the metal legs back and lift the metal frame clear of the wooden frame, the issues comes is the metal frame wobbles around, so I’ve jammed it in position up against the wooden frame with a pack of playlng cards, needs must. Still it the most uncomfortable bed ever. Worse than camping. Bathroom was a sight to behold.....I’ve neverseen so much black mould on a shower head or shower pipe in my life,howd the cleaners miss that... the black mould continues into the shower tray, sealant and tiles. 3 hours of cleaning
