Urban House Copenhagen by Meininger

Located at just a block away from the Copenhagen Central train station (& on the corner of 2 streets), this is like an ideal place to stay for those arriving by train although not quite so for those arriving by FlixBus like me (about a half-hour walk from the outdoor Bus Station located in the south and by coming a little roundabout-way from it including having to go over the overpass of the Copenhagen Central). But yes, except for that small inconvenience of location was a "pretty nice" stay in a 6-bed dorm room (with also an en-suite bathroom) although worth mentioning in my opinion is this one part "like a ramp" along the corridor outside the rooms (so having to "go up" a bit when going to the room). And as for the convenience of location (while staying here despite a long walk from the Bus Station), to be found right around the big-building block with this place & also in the immediate vicinity are a number of restaurants (including those shops in "small basements" with reasonable-priced food-in-box items & a McDonald's inside the Central Station) and a "corner 7-Eleven" and actually also a small currency-exchange shop. And yes, as for the "sightseeing convenience", it's just about a 15-minute walk to the National Museum of Denmark (with really "quite a magnitude" of historical items to see) followed by about another 10-minute walk to the Christiansborg Palace (with a "quite splendid" interior, underground "castle ruins" and seen while there in the early morning a horse-carriage going in like a circular motion in front of the royal stable) then about another 10-minute walk to the beautiful Nyhavn Canal (with "bright-colored" buildings along both sides of the stretch also "quite lively" both on the promenades beside the canal & also in it).

Nice rooms and friendly staff. There are plenty of nice spaces to hang out in the lobby. Other guests were loud late at night and it did not always feel the safest. Overall this was a good place to stay and conveniently located. The tivoli food hall is a 5 minute walk away and is really good

This place is super, it's clean, welcoming, quiet. It's very good value for money. There are lots of different types of people who use this hostel, families, couples, groups young and old. It's not as you would image a hostel but more of a community hub where everyone from around the world meet to explore Copenhagen. It's close to a metro, central station. I would recommend this place to stay to anyone. Thank you for a great stay.
