Candlewood Suites Cookeville

The hotel seemed like it was a new property. The lobby was clean and very nice. Checkin was simple and quick and I was given a bag with water and a few snacks as a thank you for being a member. The room was very clean, the bed was great and I wished I could have stayed longer. I will go back to this hotel when in the area.

Great hotel, check-in was very quick. Every staff member that we encountered was very friendly. Double queen room was clean, shower had good water pressure and the beds were very comfortable, I prefer firm bed and it was perfect, no sore back the next day.

Everything is Perfect! Clean, newer, quite, and a beautiful area! Convenient - near Restaurants, not too far off I-40. Comfortable bed, kitchenette, and spacious! TV and Air are perfect. Definitely better than our stay last nice for twice the price!

Very nice, large, clean room. Customer service rep was professional and efficient. Sits off of the interstate with several restaurants nearby. Worth the trip down to the town itself!! There is more parking in the back of the hotel if you are unable to find a place in the front. We will be back.

Everything was very nice here and exactly like we expected. We had no problems and food options were near by. All the staff were helpful and the rooms were clean. The beds were comfy and the ac unit worked perfectly.

I really loved my stay at Candlewood Suites. The property is well maintained, the rooms are large and the swimming pool is warm and wonderful. I usually don’t pay attention to square footage because I normally travel alone. The room I had was 300 sq. feet and that made a difference when there’s more than one person in the room. I wish I could remember the young lady’s name that checked me in but I don’t. When I gave her my ID for check in she noticed it was my birthday and she slipped a card under my door. That was super thoughtful and I wish we could have spent the entire week at this hotel!

Not only are the room's nice and if you get a suite it comes with a kitchen with all the stuff you need, pot's, pans, dishes, silver wear. It has a full size fridge. Now if you forget something, no need to worry. They have a place you can come down and see if they have it, let a attendant know you have it and you can borrow it for the night. They have stuff like crockpots, can openers, bottle openers, and games for the kids. You wont be disappointed.

Very new and clean hotel, but lacking breakfast service or even coffee. We were directed to the “Cupboard” for free coffee and to purchase cereals, but the coffee machine was broken and they had no milk for the cereal. Seems like a pretty basic feather these days… next time, I’ll stay at a Hampton Inn or similar, where they always have coffee.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, in a king room. The lady checking me in was probably the highlight of my stay. Denise was so friendly and welcoming and had a great sense of humor. An absolute star! The room itself was okay, if a little dark. This property being an extended stay hotel, the rooms are cleaned only between guests or every 7 days, and the problem is that without very frequent housekeeping, parts of hotel rooms can become quite dirty beyond what a regular cleaning can do. The carpet, for example, needs deep cleaning; if it had been vacuumed daily it wouldn’t have accumulated so much dirt (I had to throw away my socks as they became so soiled from the carpet). The sheets were very old and had holes in them, but they looked clean. The mattress itself was so soft that we kept rolling to the middle of the bed. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. I used the pool once and the water was not very clean either, and kind of smelled bad. I did appreciate the free laundry and the possibility to purchase snacks and drinks from the small shop. I returned to Cookeville a few days after that stay and went to another hotel nearby.
