Hampton Inn Cookeville

Absolutely terrible experience. Booked room three weeks in advance only to show up and find out that they did not have a room for my family. Night shift staff admitted to 8 rooms not being cleaned which caused me not to have a room. Staff knowingly placing people in dirty rooms. Management unable to be reached. Staff rude, unprofessional, Room dirty, bad smell. Do not stay here!!

The Hampton Inn was nothing short of a majestic, magical experience. From the moment I walked into the grand lobby, I felt like I had stepped into a modern palace. The lobby was beautifully designed with high ceilings, gleaming marble floors, and elegant chandeliers casting a warm glow across the space. Plush seating areas were scattered throughout, perfect for relaxing or meeting with friends, while tasteful artwork adorned the walls, enhancing the sense of refined luxury. The rooms were equally stunning. Spacious, with large windows that allowed natural light to flood the space, they were designed for both comfort and style. The décor was a blend of modern sophistication and classic charm, with soft, neutral tones complemented by luxurious fabrics and rich wooden furnishings. The beds were like clouds, inviting you to sink in after a long day. It felt less like a hotel room and more like a private suite in a royal residence. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the rooftop restaurant. As I ascended to the top floor, I was greeted by the most breathtaking view. The panorama stretched for miles, with the city skyline meeting the horizon in a perfect blend of natural beauty and urban wonder. Dining here was an experience in itself – the atmosphere was serene, the service impeccable, and the food, a culinary masterpiece. As the sun set, the sky turned shades of pink and gold, casting a magical glow over everything. The hotel’s spa was the perfect complement to this enchanting experience. Luxurious and serene, it offered a wide range of treatments that left me feeling utterly pampered and rejuvenated. The spa was a haven of tranquility, with soothing scents and soft music creating an ambiance that transported me to a state of complete relaxation. Staying at the Hampton Inn truly felt like being in a palace, where every detail was designed to provide comfort, beauty, and a sense of magic.

We stayed here because of previous reviews. Things to know: It is so noisy and you can hear the interstate and cars racing down the road all night. The pool was closed for who knows why. The ac unit in our room was awful. It rattled and the room was super humid. No free wifi for kiddos to watch their videos and service for verizon is awful here not sure why. Our sink was clogged and our room had sticky spots. The front desk was irritated when we walked in and it set the tone for our stay. I did not want to complain about our sink because of the attitude and discussion employees had behind counter in that little back room. Breakfast options were not good at all. There is no vent in the bathroom to remove humidity! The small pros: Location Felt safe Overall this was an awful stay and the reviews mislead us on this one.

Everything was fine for the most part - the host were freindly, The rooms were clean The only problem was the room temprerture. The AC was set on 63 degrees - MAX set point. It was much more comfortable in the hallways than our room. In defense of the staff - we expected the temp to drop as the sun set but that didnt happen and we didnt call given the time of day we returned to the room. Next time - we will make the call. It was not a comfortable evening. Will I return to the Hampton Inn ? I still find it to be the best deal for the money. They had gone up in price recently and we passed on the Hampton. Remain competitive and I will certainly continue to look for the nearest Hampton when traveling.

I was here on business for one overnight. The staff was welcoming and very attentive to our needs. The rooms were very nice and definitely very clean. It was a comfortable stay. Incidentally, we happened to arrive during the tech outage caused by Crowdstrike and some of their computers were down. We could tell the staff were having to work extra hard, but they handled it all with exceptional grace and our stay was wonderful! Breakfast is excellent, there was bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits with gravy and more. We hope to stay here again in the near future!

Nice, quiet, clean hotel just off the interstate. Room size was very much above average, and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good, also. No issues or complaints. Would definitely stay here again if I were passing through Cookeville.

we were able to choose a room on the top floor on the back side to avoid noise. But….The shower dripped through the night. The shower ran hot and cold.The sink didn’t drain. The room was damp and musty. There was very little food left at 8a. All hand sanitizer stations were empty or malfunctioning, even in breakfast area. At peak breakfast and checkout time they shut down the elevators meaning we elders had to climb 4 flights to get back to our room and descend 4 flights dragging our luggage down.

This Hampton has a great staff, from the front desk, to the breakfast cook, maids, maintenance, and manager. Great people who seem to enjoy making their guest comfortable. Our room was clean, with a large couch and walk-in shower. Limited parking.

We enjoyed the Hampton cookies upon arrival. The displayed towels made into figures also added to our enjoyment. All staff we encountered were friendly and efficient. The common area is spacious and attractive. Our bedroom was standard, though the bed felt marginal. The breakfast offerings were plentiful and attractively presented.
