Lack of detail attention all around. The fascilities are passe and need updating all along. Staff is courteous but have not decession power. They are short of the employees, which makes that the people on board are overworked. Compleain reports reports are ignored. Room applieces are not working. TV connection are deficients. No cable, and difficult analog TV connection. The size of the resort is to large for their shoes. Gardens, swimming pools and beach areas are nicely kept. Night entretainment/shows are in a high level.

Bathrooms smells bad, low food /non alcoholic drinks variety specially at lunch time. Nigth shows were canceled due to the rain no night shows at all. Transportation was the worst, no AC in the bus, flies inside, and the bus stoped 3 times because disperfection with the engine.

Royal Decameron Punta Sal is a really nice hotel. The food and drinks variaty and quality was good at the buffet and most restaurants. The oriental restaurant didn't meet our expectations. The swimming pool and beach were very good. The entertainment shows and dancing staff were superb. We didn't have wifi at our rooms when we arrived but it was fixed by next morning. Some recommendations are to add more trash cans around the hotel, add more showers to wash off the sand at the beach. The 3 showers were not enough and during lunch time there was a line of several people waiting to use them. Try to have the boutique store open Saturday nights were a lot of people are looking to buy stuff since it's probably the busiest time of the week, and probably offer better information about the daily shows. The app was confusing and the only way to know about the shows was from the guy announcing the games in the microphone at the beach.

The personnel is very rude and unprofessional. They gave us a room with dirty sheets. The quality of the food is really bad. No one speaks English. The capacity to enjoy the shows is very limited. They don’t have ice creams or typical peruvian juices. Since the very beginning to the end they treated us really bad. We wont be back ever

The room has a leak, and when I called the reception they told me to move the bed so it doesn't get wet. The next day the air conditioning stopped working and it took them almost an hour to repair it. Additionally, room service did not come to clean the room until after 4 in the afternoon and at our request.

The hotel is as far removed from the good things offered by hotels in foreign countries like Mexico or the Dominican Republic. It's not worth it. The service is VERY BAD, they do not manage their staff well, and their policies are very restrictive and do not benefit the consumer; they only seek to make more money. * The standard rooms lack the basics one would expect, such as a small minibar or WIFI. * They have a policy that only allows you to use the hotel's amenities, such as the bar or buffet, upon checking in. If you arrive a few hours early, you will have to wait in the lobby until the 3PM check-in time, unless you pay 30 dollars per person for early access and room availability. This does not happen in other resort hotels in the region. * You have to wait between 20-30 minutes for drinks because the place is so crowded and there is usually only one bartender most of the time to attend to everyone. Sometimes there are two, but that's it. Occasionally, they run out of ice and have to make people wait until they get more. Again, poor staff management. * Additional requests, like in my case, I ordered a special honeymoon package which was supposed to include (among other things) wine, a cheese board, and truffles delivered to the room. It was never delivered; I had to inquire, they said it would be done in 30 minutes, which never happened until the end of my stay, and they owe me a refund for that. * The restaurant reservation system is bad; I saw many cases of people who went to their reservations and were not in the system, so you waste time. Finally, there is little capacity in the buffets, and usually, there are no tables available; you will have to wait a few minutes for one to free up. They do not consider opening new spaces that they do have available.

Hotel infrastructure was good, pool & beach were good, besides that everything else was mediocre at best. We paid for the all inclusive plus package and I think the only perk was to have access to Smirnoff vodka, besides that food was bad, service was very poor, lack of training and amount of people to provide service to the guests. One bartender was in charge of the entire pool bar, it would take about 25 min to get 1 or 2 small drinks. Hotel policy is to not give bottled water, so you have to travel multiple times to the bar to get a drink or water. The towel situation is annoying, Facilities are well kept, if you go I recommend bring a stainless cup and your own refillable water bottle. Eat fruit bread and coffee, the rest of the food is meh I have traveled to some of the best resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico, this chain has a lot to learn yet. I can see this is poor management as the employees try their best, with limited resources and poor direction

Bedroom was amazing, very comfortable. The place is clean. Personal is very polite and helpful too. However, the non-alcoholic drinks are terrible. Taste like water instead of real chicha peruana, or pineapple juice, sour peach juice etc. I I’ve been to El Pueblo many times and the quality of the food and drinks is outstanding. A little disappointed with Punta Sal. Also, as a member I didn’t see the benefits for example in tours or transport. It’s way cheaper taking a tour outside or even a taxi. I recommend people to go to Decameron take a taxi at the airport (Tumbes), many private options and way cheaper than what the Resort offers.

If you care to have internet while there forget it , internet did not work outside of your room and when in the room it was horribly slow! They had downloadable menus at the restaurants but you were not able to see them cause of ….. LACK OF INTERNET! We almost had an emergency with a missing family member with special needs and was not able to contact them due to the lack of internet. Also when you had questions , no one seemed to have the answers or when given an answer …. It turned out to be wrong ! I will say one of the highlights of our trip was our excellent waitress Milagros, she was the best and needs a promotion!

I really like the shows ,food, the service. Also, the view was spectacular. I suggest this place if you want to relax! All around was so clean, the people Who work there were so kind. I enjoy eating all the time.
