Motel 6 Columbus, Oh

Booked a non smoking room and got what I believe was at one time a smoking room by the smell of the room.sheets on bed looked like they hadn’t been washed in awhile.

Staff was friendly and efficient! Saw a roach, so keep belongings in car or stay elsewhere. For the price, it was OK

This is another OYO conversion motel. The only thing we did not like about the location was that it was in what we refer to as 'an industrial park of motels.' However, the OYO team did it again, taking a motel that had not been truly cared for and turning it into something amazing! Honestly, walking into a room at an OYO motel is like walking into a brand new motel.

Bad experience made worse by ******* Overbooked, unable to fill reservations, room service must have been on holiday because they weren't at work. Our room hadn't been turned over and someone left their...recreational party supplies... on the room table, so the desk gave us a different room (the last one she had) but the keycard didn't work, so we couldn't get in and neither could she. She told us she couldn't reprogram the keycard since their computer wasn't updated, so the only thing she could do was refund us. We had the cancelation insurance on the visit out of habit & opted to pay at the location - which we did on arrival. She refunded the visit, gave me the receipt & we left... and then ******* charged me for it separately within an hour of leaving, calling it a no show fee - when the insurance was on the room. COMPLETELY unacceptable. I want a full refund and I'll be deleting my account and sticking to my Hilton Honors account. Go with what you know.

Room was dirty, and bugs. Had trash from the occupants before us and when we walked into the bathroom 3 cockroaches ran out. We walked right back down and asked for a refund. We were not in the room even 5 minutes before asking for our refund and the property only gave us a partial. Which I find ridiculous. Do not stay in this hotel.

S,• • T HOLE It was groooss from the dingy once white towels to the cochroachs welcoming committee & the smell of room was almost as bad as the smell inside the mini fridge. But my favorite thing was the dried urine Covered toilet seat and toilet itself. And I forgot to bring my own triple A batteries for TV remote. No actual buttons on TV. When I asked for some batteries for the remote I was told I'd have to get some myself . that is the kind of service I love. Good old fashioned get your own batteries if you want to watch TV. Classic customer service at its finest. That's what we need more of. You want clean towels better bring some. They don't have any. If you like good old fashioned service better bring some. They don't have any. .. I should of just stocked up. You can never have to many batteries. And it's just smart to pack some for every occasion .honestly tho the room was pretty disgusting to me and Im a regular guy that don't mind a little dirt, . But Gross, filthy, stinking & roaches. I mind., I'm gone , adios. Just stay in a local business dumpster. It b cheaper. The funniest part is $125 deposit. Refundable if you don't damage anything . That's a hilarious. Your the now damaged thing for the experience. 2 thumbs down and zero stars
