Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbus

We did not care for this hotel. A pathetic Fairfield Inn & Suites, in our opinion. The room is noisy, the toilet runs constantly, and the bathtub drains very slowly. The bathtub caulk is disgusting. The WIFI is terrible. The TV channel selection is limited.

The staff was so friendly professional and helpful. Brittany and Jimmi and Jennifer truly cared about me and my wife and showed genuine interest. This standard of excellence is not that common. Thankful for Columbus GA Fairfield. Clean room...great breakfast. You guys do a great job and it is appreciated

We checked in late on 9/13. While the bedroom was fine, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. It clearly hadn't been cleaned properly and should never have been rented out in that condition. There was mold in the shower, grime and moldy floor tiles, dirty and chipped toilet, the ceiling was filthy with paint chipping . It made it unbearable to use. I addressed it at the front desk and checked out a day early because it was repulsive. The Front Desk Supervisor, Jennifer told us we would still be charged for the room because we booked it for 2 nights and did not cancel 24 hours in advance . She did not care to even look at the room. She told us that only management could offer us a refund and she could not check us out because the system would not let her since it was a 2 night reservation . She dismissed us and told us to email management. As instructed, I have emailed management, the general manager, the assistant manager. I have left two telephone messages with no response, no apology or any follow up. I went so far to contact the management company, Valley Hospitality - and no response from them either I expected much better. I encourage you to never stay at this property, or any property managed by Valley Hospitality. I gave them several opportunities to make it right. I am not one to leave reviews. However, being that I was treated so poorly, it’s the only way to express my disgust and warn future people considering this property

Hotel had a whole slew of issues. Will not be returning and will be reconsidering the Fairfield brand going forward: -left to wait 30 min at desk with no attendant for check in. Groceries getting warm. No apology when she finally showed up. Had started calling other hotel brands under their management company. Sent the general manager a complaint the next morning. No response to that. -A heavy chemical / cleaning solution smell in my room when I arrived. I was able to get used to it but my coworker had to leave the hotel as the smell in his room (and they gave him a second room but it was still bad) was giving him a headache. -I was not informed that housekeeping was not occurring during the week. -I informed the front desk that the exhaust fan in my room wasn't working; they said maintenance would address it. They never came. My room became progressively humid after each shower and therefore my towels would not air dry. So I had to walk down to get new towels each day. -Strange water pooling/leaking possibly from toilet in corner of bathroom (on other side of room from shower). -Another of my coworkers had a cockroach in his room. -My last night here the lock on my room broke and I was unable to get in. The front desk person was able to call maintenance; but he walked her through opening the door but not fixing it. Therefore if I were to leave my room, I only could use the room latch to prop it open otherwise I wouldn't be able to get back in my room. Very inconvenient.

Wow 😮 top notch. The employees, guest and area has such a feeling of love for God 🙏, Country 🇺🇸 and guest . Our treatment was beyond excellent as we spent a lot of our time in lobby between ceremonies, activities and Fellowship at Ft Moore to honor Golden Star ⭐️ families. Please listen to this beautiful song 🎶 sang to us in honor of losing a family member in the service of our Country 🙏🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸🙏

Excellent customer service Shout out to Krystal and management. Enjoyed the stay, will be coming again. Great breakfast and more. Me and the family had fun, rooms are nice and clean. Our children enjoyed the rooms and pool area. Thank you for the hospitality.

Sophilia and Jennifer were so welcoming at check in! Sophilia did our best to get us in early and she did! 10/10 Recommend this property. Hospitality at its finest and such a warm, cozy place. My family enjoyed the complimentary breakfast as well.

Gotta say I went in with low expectations. Stayed here with a team playing locally at a sports tournament. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice sleeping area and separate sitting area - couch, desk, TV. Microwave and Refrig. The shower was EXCEPTIONAL - great presure and hot water. Sadly that is NOT the norm at most hotels - even higher end ones! Checking in was a breeze - very friendly staff. Organized in accomodating 30 players and coaches. Breakfast was a nice touch - lots of ceral options and gluten free options. Fresh fruits and milk, yogurt. The lady running that part of the operation is very good! Big group of parents hung out at the long table in the lobby in the evenings and they were very accomodating. Nice space. I would definitely return to this hotel.

I absolutely love coming here . Number one because of Jennifer that woman should be the manager. She is absolutely the kindest , attentive person I’ve ever met. She never forgets my name. She consistently goes above and beyond. She makes sure everything is ok with my room . Calls my room to make sure of that and is an absolute delight of a woman. Marriott gets to still remain my number one choice because of people like Ms . Jennifer. Please give her a raise, a bonus,promotion,something amazing as her customer skills are world class . Thanks Ms Jennifer for helping me feel like home when I’m in the area for work.
