It’s a lovely place and it was easy to get into following the instructions which was a relief as we arrived at one in the morning. However, there was no breakfast of any sort. Luckily we had some biscuits/cookies with us. Very surprised and disappointed as it’s advertised as a b & b.

This hotel (it’s a misnomer to call it a B&B) was unlike their website which showed photos of a beautifully furnished homey place and reviews that described a self serve breakfast, light snacks during the day, positive interaction w/the owners; and a daily manager’s beverage break. Instead, we experienced no minifridge to store our cooler items; ice was nowhere to be found; snacks/breakfast consisted of a container of sliced apples, caramel dip cups, and a bowl of fruit (see photo); furnishings were so meager it seemed clinical; the shower lever was broken in our bathroom; beverages were limited to a water cooler, carton of soy milk, and tea/coffee; and the owners didn’t respond to my text asking when the self serve breakfast would arrive and where the ice machine was located. Other guests I’d met had the same unanswered questions. It seems that we were left completely on our own, which isn’t synonymous w/contactless service.

We were in a pinch to find a place that wasn't a fortune because of USC homecoming. I found this online and was able to book last minute. The hotel was very clean and quaint. No issue getting in once I read the self check-in text. A little strange to not have anyone on sight for questions but no big deal. The room was nice (Jackson), a huge closet to store our things and give us more space in the room. Bed was comfortable and shower had great pressure. The breakfast was basic, some bagels/croissants, coffee. Again, no biggie. Only thing we missed was access to ice or a fridge. We'd been traveling and had a bottle of wine we'd have liked to chill but there were glasses and a wine opener available. Getting a table top ice machine would be a simple fix. Either way, we'd stay again.

One night was not enough! Beautiful inside and out, comfy bed, gorgeous furniture, felt like a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was a self served fruit/bagel/yogurt deal, but plenty for us and convenient. Sink is in the room, not the bath, which was an adjustment but not a big deal. If we return to spend time in the area, we won't look anywhere else!

we loved our stay there. The host were very accommodating and the B&B was very quaint and adorable. we would highly recommend the 1425 for your next stay. The sitting room was very nice and the location was very convenient.

Dark cold room with covered window. Offsite host who neglected to give us the code to get into the building and into our room. Had to wait outside for awhile to get her to respond. Breakfast coupon was for a restaurant with a limited buffet.

Stayed here one night for a reunion. Room was spacious. Good security and very easy check in and check out. Price was good for a reunion weekend, but high for area. Room was clean, bed comfortable. It’s on the nicer end of a b&b. Room was far quieter than I expected. Renovations were nicely done. But the little things: only one trashcan in the room; there was NO counter space anywhere - I had to put my makeup in the sink in order to put it on. Lighting was awful.

Historic home in great condition. Clean and organized with drinks and snacks available. Rooms include a bed, TV, night stand, bathroom and closet. Felt historic with a hint on modern. Everything is done through codes. No staff on location but Pam was quick to respond and explain check in step by step. Areas to relax and talk, read or scroll your phone. Quiet and clean. Parking is extremely convenient and safe. It is a long walk to almost everything. Need to drive but that was not a problem. Breakfast voucher to Main Course downtown for breakfast buffet. So good. This is worth the stay in Columbia. Rooms for around $200 with fees and taxes. Worth it!
