Clean room best servicefriendly and kind resection highly recommend to every family

Checkin was only possible via a tablet as there is no reception. There was only one available, and there was a long queue to check-in. Also the room was not cleaned in 4 days. Overall, the room was really nice and the location was perfect!

Great hotel for the money, not so sure about a staff-less hotel being a great idea, not the hotels fault but lots of noise coming from neighbouring rooms late at night and early mornings, on our second day of our break we were chilling in the room in the morning taking our time as you do on holiday, 8:55 we got a chap on the door from a guy telling us he “had” to clean our room and we had five / ten minutes to get out, this is unusual and we felt a bit rushed plus he never had any uniform just his civilian clothes. Decor is quirky and a bit funky, no kettle for that morning coffee was a bit disappointing.

We stayed at this hotel whilst visiting Cologne for football. We couldn't have been happier! Modern clean rooms, easy check in, good location and a great price. We were even treated to a free drink on arrival! The staff are scarce but when we did come across them they couldn't have been more helpful. Contact via email was also fast & efficient. Perfect stay.

Lovely clean modern hotel with self check in/out. Breakfast served until 10am (chargeable but reasonable prices). Booked a quadruple room, on arrival I was upgraded to 2 double rooms for no reason. Lovely spacious rooms nice bathroom, really good hairdryer! No tea or coffee facility in the room though, however when the cafe closes you can purchase bottles of water, beers or cola from the self serve fridge in reception (by the locker) for only €2. Lockers available in the lobby. Staff are very helpful and friendly however you may not seen them often as this hotel is do it yourself but I’m sure they’re on hand if need be. Hotel location is good for the Xmas markets. Postrade underground is across the road taking you around the city, easy to use and no need to purchase a ticket, no one checks..only 15 mins from cologne Bonn airport, taxi or Uber about €40. great stay would recommend

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME - The way this hotel does business is absolutely shocking. Quote you one price on booking . Com. Then they refuse to take payment on that website and ask you to pay on PayPal incurring more fees and exchange rate fees totalling over £200. The staff I spoke to were rude and unhelpful. I dread to think what the staff in the hotel are like if this is the way they chose to operate.

The hotel is nicely decorated and quite quirky, the best thing was the glass wall in the bathroom which you can make opaque at the flick of a switch. The air conditioning control was broken and the room was freezing. On chat with one if the staff who couldn’t do anything about it, my bedside light was also not working. There was a lot of wear and tear in the room, worn floors, lots of limescale on the shower heads, the overhead one was unusable it was so blocked up. We were offered bunk beds in a dorm as a room change which was totally unacceptable. Had we have been in Cologne for more than one night we would have definitely checked out. Going paperless and peopleless is ok on paper but if something is broken you need to be able to provide someone to give maintenance when there is a problem, you can’t just offer bunk beds and fob someone off with a bit of a refund. The refund we received was about £7.50

The design and size of the room was lovely and the bed was really comfy. I was also surprised to see that our room had been upgraded when we got there. The breakfast was basic but reasonably priced. It’s definitely a hotel to avoid if you’re a light sleeper or get bothered by hearing noise from other rooms/the hallway. The overall cleanliness was okay apart from the hairs that were left on the shower walls. Check in was easy enough however, we arrived at the hotel 1.5 hours before the check in time so thought we’d try scanning the QR code from checking in online prior and it wouldn’t let us go to our room but when checking in again manually on the iPad, we were able to get our room details and write our keys so that was a bit strange. It says that there’s luggage storage online but there are only lockers which the sizes are comparable to school lockers so can store hand luggage at the most. There were a couple suitcases which people had left at their own risk which I’m sure was fine, but isn’t very safe. There are no staff apart from at breakfast, so I did miss being able to ask for local recommendations and taxi info etc (however I did figure out that there is an app similar to Uber which you can use). I would also bear in mind that there wasn’t a wardrobe, only a set of drawers which was half taken up by a safe so you end up living out of your suitcase for your stay.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Booked through their website and received a "payment failed" message and subsequent "payment failed" email from the hotel. So, I tried again and this time it went through fine. I then discovered I had been charged for the first attempt. Presumably this company keep your card details and I assume must have processed a second payment attempt, using my card details, for the first "failed" booking. A day later they took a third, completely unauthorised, payment of 370 euros from my bank account, which they have only partly refunded. STAY AWAY!

I arrived at the hotel alone at around 11am where I intended to wait until my partner arrived to meet me. There are no staff there and you check in manually on a computer. As check-in is not until 3pm I went to the lockers at the far end of the lobby to put my suitcase away. As I was putting my case away a large group of 6 men, possibly more, surrounded me in front of the lockers. I'm a petite woman and they were all over 6 foot tall. They were dressed up for the Carnival parade and had clearly been drinking heavily through the night. They surrounded me and said things like 'oh wow you're beautiful', 'hello beautiful'... when I continued putting my things in my locker they continued to close in on me saying 'smile, smile, you should smile more' and 'you would be a lot prettier if you smiled'. At this point with nobody else around and feeling extremely scared for my safety I told them to leave me alone, squeezed past them and went into the ladies bathroom where I planned to wait until they left the lockers. I could hear smashing bottles as they were so drunk they dropped a few of their beer bottles on the floor. The main door of the ladies bathroom did not lock and one of the men came into the bathroom just a few minutes after me. I was terrified and screamed at him to get out and leave me alone. He left the bathroom but the men continued to stand outside the door for at least ten more minutes while I waited scared inside for them to leave before I could make my exit. This was a truly traumatizing experience and ruined what was meant to be a romantic weekend away for my partner and I in Cologne.

I got bed bugs in this hotel, this is really annoying since I have to clean my house (by professional bed bug company) very unhygienic. I contacted the hotel and they are just denying everything but there is simply no other explanation.
