Super einfaches check in und check out Freundliches Personal. Die Milchglaswand zwischen Dusche und Bett könnte irritierend sein. Wir earen mit allem sehr zufrieden.

Stayed in a fun bed shaped like a race car. Car museum also on site with antique cars. Two hotel-owned restaurants on site--one of them was Mexican but it had other cuisines as options too. About 20 minutes outside Cologne. No other shops or restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Very stark decor and not visitor friendly. The bar staff were rude. Be warned that the restaurant staff offer schnaps after the meal but it is not on the house as they first make out. Rooms are very basic considering it is a 4 star hotel. Bathroom offers no privacy. Pillows are virtually non existent. Not a good experience. And to add insult they didn't even screen the F1 race which considering it is a car themed hotel was poor.

This is a great hotel. Perfect for car enthusiasts. We visited for my husbands birthday with a 4 and 8 year old. Once the kids were fed up of motorworld I left my husband to wander around whilst I took them to the really great park right outside the hotel. We spent a good couple of hours out there! We had a family room, room 200. It had a lovely big bed plus a sofa bed and we had plenty of room. Shower nice and hot and the room very quiet (till we arrived). Staff friendly. We ate at the Mexican - the food was great. Breakfast was amazing - the kids filled their boots with pancakes, fruit and pastries. A good selection. A great trip, I’d highly recommend if you like cars!

We booked this hotel for our first night in Cologne as my husband wanted to see the cars / Formula 1 memorabilia at Motorworld. As we were in Cologne without a car, we decided to book this car-themed hotel for one night. The room was huge - very comfortable bed and pillows. The location was good; we were able to easily navigate from the Central station to this hotel. The hotel has a car theme, and the designers really put a lot into it. From the hotel room ceiling to the elevator (we loved the vroom vroom as the elevator ascended to the floors), it was very cool. The Sunday breakfast was very expensive at 24 Euros per person, however it was incredibly plentiful and included sparkling wine to make Mimosas. There are several restaurants but they were all very busy on a Saturday night; if you plan to eat there, make a reservation. We were lucky to get a table, and if we had not, not having a car would have been an issue. We were happy to stay for a night.

Great place, super friendly professional staff, what an experience to stay at the V8 Motorworld. Very buzzing, lots of restaurant options within the complex, almost like on a cruise ship. We tried a tasty newly opened Mexican, definitely to be recommended. Bedrooms very nicely themed and stunning design, cleanliness spot on. Perfect for a short stay away. Impressed to be honest, will tell at least another 7 people about our positive experience... #placetobe

What an experience ! Everything in the hotel is in theme, and with motorworld right next door it's every car enthusiast's dream! Lots of things to do/places to eat in and near the hotel as well. The staff is incredibly friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. We will be back for sure :-)

This hotel is amazing! The hotel has a motor theme and is on the same site as the Motorworld car exhibition on the site is an old airfield. Everything was so well done from the repurposed aircraft parts that made the reception desk to the revving noise that the lift made when we went up to our rooms. Although it is a little out of the city centre, there is a tram line around the corner that goes straight to the centre. There are several restaurants on site and we ate at two, both were excellent. All of the hotel and restaurant staff were so lovely and helpful. I am not a petrol head by any means but I loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for 2 nights on a work trip. The hotel is basically wrapped around a glorified super car showroom on the site of the old Cologne airfield. Rooms are clean, well equipped and nice. The restaurant is fantastic, but the bar was closed and I understand hasn’t been open for a while. The only negative is that the car theming is a bit tacky at times; like when you get in the elevator and a sports car revving sound accompanies you as you ascend/descend. The Michael Schumacher car collection is worth a look.

My wife and I booked a Theme Room for a short stay as part of our visit to the Cologne Motorworld. Our check in was rather curt, I would have expected a little more friendliness / welcoming atmosphere. We had a fair bit of luggage to take up to our room - unfortunately no offer from the concierge for help or to lend us a trolley…. I would have expected more from a 4 star hotel to be honest… That said, our themed car room on the fourth floor of the hotel was fantastic. Very creatively decorated, with a car hood / front at the front part of the spacious bed. The seats in the room were taken directly out of the matching car - very creative touches! The walls and ceiling were decorated with associated car designs and engineering sketches. Even the hooks on the wall at the room entrance were made using old shift knobs. Awesome touches! You could sense that great care and creativity had been taken to decorate and prepare this particular room. The bathroom was very modern, with a large “rainforest” shower head and a generous sink area and vanity mirror. Plenty of space! The cleanliness was fantastic - we were very pleased with how we experienced our room. Of particular mention is the fact that the room has air conditioning- this is not at all common in Germany in most hotels. We enjoyed this feature during the hot month of August here in Germany! Breakfast was served in the Italian restaurant of the Motorworld - we were greeted with a generous buffet which left nothing to be desired. One of the better hotel breakfasts we have had on our journeys so far!

Tolles Hotel, wir waren in einem Themenzimmer, echt super. Großes Zimmer mit Sitzecke aus Autositzen, echt cool. Der Inhalt der Minibar ist im Preis enthalten. Sehr nettes Personal und umfangreiches Frühstück. Parken kostet 12€ für 24 Std. Eintritt in die Motorworld ist frei. Eine Gym gibt es auch. Somit ein tolles Areal wo man sich lange aufhalten kann und tolle Restaurants. Das Steakhouse fanden wir nicht so toll. Der hohe Preis ist für das Gesamtpaket gerechtfertigt und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Wir waren noch in der Wagen-Remise in Düsseldorf mit vielen Classic Cars, beeindruckend. Wir empfehlen es weiter!!
