The Paradise Peak - Adults Only

This little property gave us a unique SXM experience and the most amazing view on the island. It's a perfect romantic spot for couples to get away from the busy areas of beautiful St Martin. The first time driving up to paradise was definitely a little intimidating as the road is quite steep but you can't get lost you literally just keep following the Pic road all the way up this mountain. The little rental cars will make it up, just go nice and easy and enjoy the views. By the time you've done it a few times it's nothing. Our hosts brought our bags to our room, welcomed us with a complimentary cocktail and showed us around to get settled in. Fortunately food can be ordered for delivery for those burned out from a beach day that just want to stay in. The salt water hot tub was very nice place to enjoy the view and each others company. Our room was nicely done with a mountain chalet feel, modern, very clean and they pay special attention to the little details. The pool is very refreshing and a good size and a nice deep end to it, your able to get some shade most times of the day if you want both in the water and on the pool deck on the loungers. It was amazing being up on a mountain overlooking the island and enjoy and all over tan and a nude swim, bouncing between hot tub and pool, sun and the shade. When your done with the pool the outdoor shower was a nice touch, feels like showering in the rain-forest with nice hot water. It was easy to spend a whole day here relaxing with your partner. The "water from the air" machine was nice, that water tasted amazing and the attached ice machine produces the clearest ice you have ever seen! It was only about a 10-12 minute drive from here down into the grand case area where plenty of great restaurants are and plane watching of the smaller airport. Happy bay C/O beach is also right around there, short drive plus a 10 min walk. Even the famous Orient beach is only about 20 mins around the other side of the island for us beach lovers. If your looking for a quiet romantic getaway in SXM this is a great choice. The hosts and staff are very nice and have something special here. We will definitely return someday, but we won't bother packing half as much for clothes and swimsuits lol

My husband and I are newly married and needed a little rest, relaxation, peace and quiet after all that wedding planning and this hotel was the perfect place for that. I didn't even have to leave my room while I caught up on some sleep and a good book on our private balcony. Naty was very accommodating, and the complimentary card and wine were a sweet touch. I'm a lover of nature, and being surrounded by it made me feel great. We'll definitely be back here whenever we need to get away again.

There’s not much to add beyond the other reviews. Traveled far and wide and I’m not sure I’ve ever stayed at such a thoughtfully managed place. Serene and beautiful. Appreciated the outdoor shower and pool and hot tub after returning from a day at the beach. Then sunset drinks and a fairly priced bar. I’d rent a car if you’re spending more than two nights here otherwise you’re reliant on taxis to get anywhere and it’ll quickly be the same price. We ordered dinner up one night, and picked up some cheese, tinned sardines, bread and olives for the others. Pair with a bottle of champagne. Don’t let the clothing optional scare you — it seems most opt for the clothes, and you should take the risk for freedom anyways.

Such a special place to stay and enjoy an amazing island! SO relaxing and peaceful! Tess and Hugh are fabulous hosts and the inn is in A+ condition. Our room was comfortable… next to the pool with an amazing view from the mountain top. The gracious breakfast provided each day allowed us to interact with other guests and pick ours hosts’ brains for a list of things to do while on St Martin. All of their recommendations were spot on. Without a doubt… we will return!

My wife and I just got back from “truly” a week in Paradise! We had been to St. Martin just a few weeks ago and had stayed at a very nice “Clothing Optional” Boutique Hotel at Orient Beach and loved our experience however there is no comparison to the week that we just stayed at Paradise Peak. We had three days that we just never left the resort because we just didn’t want to. The Sunset Suite is incredible. I am already putting dates together for next February. Hugh and Tess were very nice and very present throughout the stay. Tess has done a great job with so many little touches that makes your vacation stay feel a little like home. The pictures are real. the reviews are real. The experience is real. I can’t tell you how much I would recommend this place for your next trip to St. Martin. N&V from Oklahoma

We visited here during October 2023 and had a wonderful time. The hosts Hugh and Tess are excellent at what they do making everyone feel very welcome with nothing being too much trouble. We have no problem in recommending this establishment as a base if you are planning a trip to St Martin.
