Radisson Hotel Santa Cruz

Stayed at the Radisson Hotel Santa Cruz for three weeks in december 2022 while visiting family. The hotel is situated in Urubo just outside Santa Cruz. A perfect location for us, as our family lives in Urubu, but if visiting Santa Cruz as a tourist, do note that the hotel is at the outskirts of the city. We stayed in a king bed room, which was pretty standard. Individually adjusted a/c, a small desk, big bathroom and wooden flooring. The TV had cable with many channels, and for most of them the language could be changed to English which was a plus for us. No smart TV, Chromcast or the like. The bed was nice and soft, which is nice as beds for some reason in Bolivia tends to be quite hard for my taste. The hotel is a pretty classic business hotel, and the rooftop pool is nice, and was not crowded during our stay. The hotel however tends to have parties on the rooftop on 9th floor where the pool is located. When we were here, it seemed to be every weekend. The music from here will get loud, and as we were staying at the 8th floor it was impossible to sleep, even with earplugs. We contacted the reception, but the hotel was full, and only the day after we were able to move down to the 4th floor. On this floor, you can still hear the music, but it is tolerable. One of the most important things about a hotel stay is a good nights rest, and the hotel totally failed here for us. The service is friendly but slow, and it seems they are understaffed. Many days the room service would remove our towels, but only leave one new (we were two staying in the room). Calling the reception to have another sent up took a long time, if it even arrived. Same experience at the pool, there were most days no pool towels, and it could take an hour form them to get some towels, having to ask over and over again. The breakfast is very nice, I would say standard for this class of hotels in South America. Plenty of fresh fruit, pancakes, bread, cakes, cereals and yogurt, as well as an egg and omelet station, where the staff would prepare eggs or omelets to your liking. We used the gym in the morning, which was functioning well and equipped with most things you will need. It is not very bit, so it can quite quickly get crowded. Only one bike and one stepper, which both are quite popular. All in all a nice hotel, but the high music and slow service draws down. I could choose to stay here again, but that would mainly be because of the close location to my family, and the price level.

Mi opinión es a favor y en contra. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, con lo mínimo indispensable aunque le faltan muchos detalles para una mejor comodidad. Estuve alojado tres días, la limpieza de la habitación no fue de lo mejor. El baño tenia lo mínimo en amenities, tanto que tuve que ir al supermercado cercano a comprar lo que faltaba, las toallas viejas y ásperas, solo una mediana para la ducha. En el desayuno pude ver cucarachas caminando por una pared al lado de la estación de bebidas calientes. En mi familia tenemos una costumbre, de medir los hoteles por su calidad y precio en el preparado del dry martini, que si bien es un cóctel muy clásico y fácil de preparar. tiene detalles que muestran la calidad de su bar. adjunto una foto del mismo la cual habla por si sola.... De todos los hoteles de la cadena que me toco visitar en distintas ciudades, este es desgraciadamente el que menos me gusto.

Las habitaciones son espaciosas con mínimo de productos de tocador. Malo: - El personal no es amable, empezando por la recepcionista que nos recibió de mala manera. - Los jóvenes del spa hicieron comentarios ofensivos sobre mi forma de vestir para el gimnasio porque tenía “VANS” pensando que no los escuchaba porque tenía auriculares. - No hay nadie atendiendo en la pileta, el agua está sucia, parece abandonado. - No hay aire acondicionado en las salas comunes, se desayuna con calor. - Muy poca variedad para el desayuno. Por el precio se puede conseguir algo muy superior.

El hotel es muy lindo, pero la atención pésima, llegamos muy temprano por un vuelo retrasado...y solo estuvimos unas 15 hs. y la atención un desastre, pedí el libro de quejas y allí no lo utilizan...hasta nos quisieron cobrar cargos de otra habitación..nunca se disculparon, DEPLORABLE.!!!

Las instalaciones son modernas y excelentes. El personal muy profesional y amable en todo momento. Muy recomendable sin lugar a dudas. Está lo suficientemente cerca de la ciudad para comodidad de los que venimos por trabajo y a la vez a las afueras para estar en un ambiente con mucha naturaleza . Las mejores vistas de la ciudad

Hotel moderno con instalaciones muy bien equipadas. Tiene un rooftop en la novena planta donde se encuentra una piscina y un bar con unas vistas increíbles. También tiene spa y gym. Servicio muy atento. Se ubica apenas 10minutos de Santa Cruz, se puede pedir un uber por tan solo 3€. El desayuno podría ser mejor, pero tiene lo básico.
