Hotel Sant'Orso - Mountain Lodge & Spa

Gorgeous hotel in a small Italian alpine village. Several couples stayed at this hotel in September while on a group hiking trip. The hotel was lovely, rooms were all different with some modern and some more of an old fashioned design. Housekeeping was excellent and so fast in the morning . The outdoor hot tub was great , massage in the spa excellent and having drinks on the lawn in the late afternoon while the temperatures were still in the high 20's was wonderful. The bar had fantastic entertainment the second night we were there, hard to leave to go and have dinner. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly . We loved staying here and I would recommend . The only disconnect was the "bag lunch" we purchased to go on our hikes each day- absolutely terrible . It was literally a hard bun with meat or cheese, or cheese , or lettuce cheese etc, no spread of any kind. Considering this is a hotel in a hiking area this should be much better. Also, the hotel was very busy in the morning and at breakfast it was difficult to find a waiter to order our tea and coffee.

Excellent location with friendly and efficient staff. We were part of a tour and were all provided outstanding service with clean and quite rooms and awesome views. It included breakfast, happy hour and dinner. Near many hiking and walking trails. The owner was a fantastic host.

Our tour group stayed here 3 nights. The owner is a wonderful person who gave us a tour of the small village & museum. A few days later showed us how polenta is made. This man was everywhere that I thought he was cloned. Wonderful food and his employees were great. Cogne is a great place to visit and so are the people. Loved this village.

Would have loved to book one week in their great Family rooms this summer. When you book a familyroom for over 3700 euros a week, you would at least think your kids are welcome in the pool after a long of hiking. No, only kids over the age of 12! So our oldest daughter can go for a swim, our youngest has to leave?! Why promote yourself as a hotel with special Family rooms, even mentioning on the website that the “kids are their most precious guests”when your youngest guests are not allowed in the pool Area after 5 pm? Ofcourse each hotelier can makes their own dicisions and target on specific groups, but don’t try to sell yourself as a Family hotel, when you are not!

L’ Hotel gode di una splendida posizione, direttamente affacciato sul grande spazio dell’ omonimo prato, in inverno dedicato a snow park per i bambini. La presenza delle installazioni, in ogni caso, non è di alcun disturbo. Ottima e molto varia la prima colazione, attento il servizio è decisamente apprezzabile la gentilezza e la cortesia di tuto il personale. Non abbiamo usufruito della cucina, ma consigliabile il ricco aperitivo a buffet offerto nell’ adiacente Lodge Bar ( stessa proprietà). Accogliente la SPA, che offre un qualificato servizio di massaggi e trattamenti. Ovviamente consigliabili le stanze esposte a pieno sud.

Perfetto hotel di montagna, caldo e accogliente. Colazione ottima, con prodotti locali a buffet e menu alla carta. Una menzione speciale va alla SPA, davvero perfetta (nonostante l'accesso alla piscina ai bambini fino alle 17), con piscine interne, una vasca esterna, 2 saune, bagno turco, grotta del sale e zona relax
