Beachside Hotel & Suites

Nie polecam. Na pierwszy rzut oka hotel całkiem przyjemny, w recepcji jasno i pachnąco. Niestety w pokojach zapach stęchlizny, pościel wilgotna, pod łóżkami karaluchy. Hotel nadaje się do kapitalnego remontu.

I can't advise against this "hotel" more. My family and I stayed here one night before we left out for Port Canaveral on a cruise the next morning. I am so thankful that we just had to endure one night here. When we arrived, we quickly learned that this is not a hotel. It's a motel where your room opens up directly to the outside. After checking in, we were told that unfortunately the elevator was temporarily unavailable, but should be working in the next five minutes. We had 6 people worth of suitcases. And we were told that by the time we walked down to the opposite end of the location, that the elevator would be working. This turned out to be false. We were put on the fourth floor of the building, so that meant carrying luggage up four flights of stairs. Stairs that were so visibly worn that I doubt the elevator ever worked. Upon inspection of the room, it was dreadful. It looked like it had been built maybe forty years ago, and nothing had been touched up since then. The paint was falling off of the walls. The HVAC vents looked disgusting. You had this feeling that things were crawling on you while you were there in the room as well. The room was described as a six-person room. Two queen beds and a pull out sofa. Two of my children absolutely refused to open the sofa, not knowing what in the world could be living inside of it. I did try to take my youngest to the pool area as that was the entire reason that I booked this place for my family. I was told at check-in that we could get pool towels in the lobby whenever we needed them for the pool. So I returned there for the pool towels and was told they did not have any. But I should come back in half an hour and there could be some ready. So I proceeded to the pool. Bad idea. It was so overcrowded with people. The pool area had no employees there trying to help manage the crowd. And the people that were there had no interest in supervising their teenage children. Kids were running and jumping everywhere. I had my six year old daughter there and at one point one of the teenagers was just grabbing peoples drinks and throwing them at others. My daughter was very disappointed, but we needed to leave. I returned to the lobby for the promised towels, and not surprisingly there were still no towels available. So we just stood there and waited until someone finally brought a few towels. My daughter and I returned to the room. And we all agreed to call it an early night. I wanted to take a shower. But you can see pictures of the shower. None of us dared not to touch the shower. We'd just wait until the cruise ship to shower off. Everything about the bathroom was just gross. The next morning, we got up, grabbed our suitcases and headed out. It didn't feel safe to even open the suitcases while we were there, especially overnight, not knowing what may crawl into them. So it didn't take us long to pack. I can honestly say that we had an amazing time at this property, if we could rate them a 10, then we certainly would have. We did a family reunion with 17 of us in attendance. The property should be called a resort, they had everything we needed. The suites were spacious and clean, the pool was refreshing and fin for all ages, they showed movies at night on the big screen at the pool, they had a mermaid visit for the kids, the breakfast buffet was a REAL buffet, a sandy area near the bar, full of beach toys so the kiddos could play while the adults "played" within eye shot of the bar. There was live music, it had a very carribean vibe! The location rocked as well, we were a four minute walk to the beach- and they loan out umbrellas, wagons and chairs for free! Yet another value! We were lucky enough to be staying during 2 rocket launches from Cape Canaveral and the view from the beach was perfect. BONUS! However, the staff put the cherry on top! The GM Willie, Lue, and Yvonne were the best! I'm an event planner and these folks go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make your stay so much fun, you'll never want to leave!!! We only did 3 days for the reunion, but we will be back for more with more people.

I have several negatives and two positives. On the negative side: our room did not have a closet. There were three hooks to hang things and two small bars in the bathroom. We had four people in this room; 4 swim suits, 4 towels...this room was not functional at all for a family of four. The staff do not clean your room during your stay, which means you can only get clean towels by request. If we have no where to hang towels, they should at least replace them daily. The lazy river is small and you can not fit two tubes side by side. It can get very busy as well. Two positives: the location is good. It's about a three minute walk to the beach and lost of restaurants within walking distance as well. The staff were nice, but ultimately not helpful when they ran out of towels and/or the city had shut off the water. I would not stay at this hotel again nor would I recommend it to another family.

The front desk clerks were very nice and accommodating however the suite was below our expectations. No silverware, plates, bowls, drinking glasses or coffee mugs even though the suite was advertised with a kitchenette. There are obvious signs of wear throughout. The bed linens are old and stained. The floors were not visibly dirty but the bottom of our socks were black with stains. The decor is bright and welcoming. The location near the beach and the nice pool area are a big plus for families but for a one night stay to rest and relax before flying home, it is not recommended.

We had two rooms and they were just ok. They were very clean and well equipped but old and dated The draw here is the great pool and family large screen tv at the pool. The pool was clean, warm and the kids loved the lazy river. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had a t a motel.

We had my son’s birthday party here and it was amazing! We had a private room with air conditioning and access to the lazy river and all the amenities. The staff was phenomenal! Couldn’t have had a better experience all around. Lots of fun had by all!

This unique hotel offers an absolutely outstanding breakfast and a wonderful lazy river. The rooms are comfortable. Not all the rooms have a microwave but the beds are very comfortable. My only disappointment was hating it was not ocean front. Nowhere in the description did it say that it was oceanfront, but it does state that it is 350 feet from the ocean. I wish I’d had been a little clearer or that I had called to confirm. If you are not concerned about being oceanfront, This is a good place to stay and I would consider staying here again. Upon our check-in, we were able to change your room from road frontage to poolside. This was offered by the manager without any prompting, and there was no additional charge for it. my mother and I appreciated her kindness. I would also like to add that every member of the staff that I came across was smiling and very pleasant.

Great place close to many local shops and beach. Has a great lazy river better than a pool my nieces loved it! Free bfast was great plus they even had live music and a movie playing outside at night. Great bar for dinner with inside or outside dining and some games to play like cornhole. Would recommend esp I staying over day before before going on a cruise.
