This place is a right gem, located perfectly in the Lake District, each room has beautiful view of the mountains or of the well established garden Judith and Peter has created, we were in the blue willow room which has everything we needed plus a lot of little treats. Breakfast is a pure delight, the hosts make it extra special. I was treated and spoilt rotten which was lovely as it was my birthday, could not recommend this place more!!! We will be back :) Steph and Cameron x

This luxurious B&B is like no other. Set in a quiet location with magnificent garden. It has dedicated guest entrance, dining area and lounge overlooking the River Derwent with the historic town of Cockermouth not far away and mountains of Cumbria around. Two comfortable rooms have modern fittings and access to guest's fridge and microwave cooker. A parking space for each room, it's in easy reach of The Lakes and the west coast. Breakfast is the main meal of the day with a good choice of English or Continental food, served to perfection by the wonderful hosts. After 28 visits we still look forward to our next.

With a dedicated guest entrance, dining area and comfortable lounge, Westwood gives guests more than the usual B&B. There's an extensive choice for breakfast, served to perfection by our lovely hosts Judith and Peter. Each room has drinks facilities and a fridge with fresh milk. Rooms are clean and comfortable, serviced every day. Set in a lovely part of Cumbria, with magnificent views, it's a great place to relax and unwind or venture out to The Lakes and Hills.

We have just returned from our second stay with Judith and Peter and once again we had a lovely relaxing stay. We stayed in the Cottage Garden Room this time (previously stayed in the Blue Willow Room) once again the room is finished to a very high standard, tea/coffee making facilities are provided. You even have use of your own fridge and fresh milk is provided. Breakfast is delicious and there is plenty to choose from (including cereal, fresh fruit, cooked breakfast, toast) . You are not too far from Buttermere Lake, Derwent Water, Crummock Water, Keswick to name a few places. Cockermouth town centre is a short drive away with a good selection of pubs and coffee shops. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as the views are stunning and it's in such a lovely location. Thank you both for another fantastic stay.

The cleanliness, attention to detail, the amazing breakfast, the wonderful hosts. Everything was just perfect. This is our second visit and without a doubt we will be back God willing. Would highly recommend to everyone and they won't be disappointed

As a multigenerational family visiting Westwood-The B&B with a view-our needs were varied and complex. The accommodation provided catered for the needs of the limited physical abilities of the older generation whilst not compromising on the quality that you would expect in a luxury hotel. The food, support and conversation offered by Judith and Peter is highly personalised but not intrusive and nothing is too much trouble. This meant all of our group relaxed and really enjoyed our time away, all managing to recharge our batteries. If you are travelling with little people, or older people Judith and Peter have managed to combine the magic of a highly personal experience with the luxury that usually means that this level of experience cannot be offered. Thank you so much we will be back!

Westwood is an exceptional place to stay, more than just a B&B. In a quiet location just a short drive from the main A66. It's within easy reach of the Northern Lakes, west coast beaches and the historic town of Cockermouth. Two comfortable rooms with modern ensuite facilities. Lovely spacious guest lounge to relax in and admire the stunning view, whatever the weather. Or enjoy time in the well kept garden, when the weather permits. Breakfast is unbeaten, with a wide selection of English and Continental to choose from. Served to perfection by the lovely hosts, Judith and Peter. who will stop at nothing to make your stay perfect. During our 26 visits since 2018. we have never been disappointed. Always looking forward to our next stay, which we have already booked.

This perfect two bedroom B & B has a lovely lounge just for guests with stunning views over the river Derwent and to Cockermouth, not far away. Comfortable bedrooms with TV, kettle and coffee machine. Each room has it's own fridge and safe. Lovely breakfast with a great choice of English or Continental, served by excellent hosts who give a Five Star service. Ample car parking and a magnificent garden. In a quiet location with easy reach of the Northern Lakes and the Solway coast. Our favourite place away from home.

An absolute delightful place to stay. The hosts are wonderful and friendly and serve the most delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Very comfortable rooms and the view from the lounge is magnificent. There is a lovely garden with an area for a barbecue in the Summer. Very close to Cockermouth town centre which has lots of independant shops. The local Harris park is worth a visit and it is not too far to travel to the villages in the Lake district. I would strongly recommend this B&B. It was just perfect.
