Conveniently situated near Alton Towers with a lovely pub & Aldi store across the road. Clean hotel with lots of parking in a very quiet area. If you are visiting Alton Towers & looking for a budget friendly overnight stay in would definitely recommend.

After a hard morning the lady on reception Annie was very welcoming and helpful thankyou Annie for your generosity it is very much appreciate would definitely recommend after a hard day's work or to de stress nice and quiet with a supermarket just at the front very handy

Quiet location, clean hotel, very good value. Pub next door is good for evening meal but does not do breakfast but plenty of places in ashbourne.

Hotel clean and pleasant. Staff (Kate), was excellent, so professional, welcoming and helpful, really made our stay trouble free and it's so important to have staff like this ... 10/10.

Came up for shrovetide and it was ideal room was perfect and clean and the lady's on day shift and night shift were very friendly and helpful. Definitely would come again for shrovetide next year as even though I don't leave far just way more convenient then a taxi

Had a great nights stay and a restful sleep. The staff were very polite and professional, I will definitely use this Travellodge again when I next visit Ashbourne.

Stayed at Ashbourne Travel Lodge for 3 nights for a family visit to Alton Towers. Location was great, an easy 15-20 min drive to the theme park, and an Aldi next door ( just across the small carpark, could see it from our bedroom window) which was great for breakfast and snack/ lunch bits to take to the park. The Stepping Stones pub next door was good too, we had 2 meals there in the evenings. The family room we had was plenty big enough for two adults and two children aged 10 & 13 for 3 nights. It was more spacious than we had expected and as it’s newly renovated it was all in good order etc. It was very quiet and we didn’t hear any noise from other guests. Beds were slightly on the harder side but we all still slept well. The staff were friendly and happy to supply us with extra towels and a hairdryer when we asked for these. The only slight improvement would be for the smoking area to be away from the main front door as the smell/ smoke drifted up a bit into our open bedroom window once. Overall for the price we paid we were very happy with this Travel Lodge.

Upon arrival feeling tired with my push bike Wendy the receptionist tried to help and went one stage further by contacting her manager Ali who was off duty at the time. A plan was put in place to aid my stay and I am very grateful to both members of staff for their empathy and understanding extended to a very tired cyclist

I enjoyed my stay at the Ashbourne Travelodge, which was just for one night after doing some walking in the local area. The room was really comfortable and best of all nice and warm at a very cold time of the year. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the Travelodge is excellent, just opposite the road from an Aldi store where you can stock up on items for breakfast. It's also within walking distance of the town centre, which has some wonderful options for food and drink. For people using public transport, there is a bus stop on the main road just a few minutes away.
