We enjoyed a single evening at the Highland Lodge. The lodge reflects the original owner's desire to build accommodations with a European feel and to the credit of the new owner, she continues to provide a unique experience. She and her partner clearly care about the comfort of their guests. Beyond the individual rooms that are well appointed and very clean, the common sitting area provides leather couches, chairs, tables, and a fireplace (electric) that invites visitors to sit and chat. The dining area has large windows looking out on Wisconsin farmland and a well kept outdoor area perfect for outdoor gatherings. The continental breakfast has a variety of packaged goods and plenty of coffee and tea. We will return if we are in the area again.

It is a home atmosphere there. Very nice, only few rooms. Our room (king size bed) was nice, good bathroom wirh everything you need. Balcony. Beautiful terase and quiet. Very good breakfast, very friendly welcome. Absolutely everything was nice.

Clean, friendly, cute with a German inspired theme. Best sleep in a while. Great owner/operator living on site and very attentive. Would definitely recommend. We were passing though the area but it’s relatively close to Whistling Straits, Kohler, Road America and just off the freeway far enough to be quaint, unique and a step ahead of the typical lodging options

So many things to love about this cozy" Swiss-like" Wisconsin lodge: -the attentive staff -the cheerful, well stocked, help-yourself breakfast room[many choices of coffee!] -the spacious deck and patio But that really reinforced my high regard for Highland Lodge was when the staff promptly informed me, after my departure , that they had found a small purse with cash in my room. It had no ID in it and I had no idea where I had lost it! Thank you Highland Lodge A Minnesota fan

Locally owned by Elle. She is a gem. Polite, professional, and kind. She presents a charming 10 room boutique hotel and rural experience. The common area is welcoming with charming with sofas, books, and a fireplace. The back deck is LOVELY for sitting and relaxing, dining, or playing a game. Umbrella tables and a warming station are also available. The breakfast is available in a family style kitchen with plenty of seating. We stayed in the East Suite. Super roomy, very comfortable. clean, neat and tastefully decorated with a bit of whimsy. Bed was very comfortable, sheets divine. Even the sofa bed was comfortable. Deluxe bath towels were a nice treat. I would definitely stay here again. Ruff's restaurant 5 miles away was a great local eatery and bar. Excellent food and VERY friendly service on a busy Friday night. Just a note: There is no elevator should you be on the upper floor.

This place is a hidden gem!! The food is great! The drinks are great! We have eaten here multiple times. On our last visit we brought a few friends who also enjoyed it. The fish is great! The brownie sundae is delicious! The drink menu is very nice. We tried the raspberry mojito! Excellent! We asked to see a room and I was impressed. The rooms are quaint and clean! Room prices are very very fair. This is far enough off a major highway exit to be convenient to the highway but not get any traffic noise. There is a large outdoor deck with seating and a fire pit. It’s tucked away in a rural setting. Best part for me- it’s clean. Rooms, restrooms, restaurant meticulously kept. It’s has an alpine lodge decor and feel. The waitress and staff were great. I will be a repeat customer.

If you are looking for an adorable quaint roadside inn that has great amenities, an amazing restaurant, and delicious drinks, you've found it!!! The Highland Lodge was the perfect spot for our stay before heading down to Milwaukee to catch our flight. If we could have stayed longer, we would have.

Visited the Highland Lodge & Pub for the first time today. Friendly and quick service, and the food was great! We had the Brats and Tots Appetizer and loved it! Then we had the Blue Burger with Sweet Potato Chips. Really hit the spot! While my friend picked from the nice selection of beers, I enjoyed a delicious Malibu in the Midwest drink. Nice ambiance and decent prices. We will definitely be going back!

Quiant rooms with all the amenities including luxurious towels. It has a B&B feel with indoor and outdoor spaces to relax. We ate at the pub which had excellent food and service. We took our drinks to the upstairs deck after dinner to hang out. Breakfast was a typical continental spread. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. It’s a great place for cyclists to stay.
