Motel 6 Cleveland, TN

Four of us...two rooms. We got in late and everything was great. Clean and quiet rooms. Easy check-in, got the rooms we wanted. Staff was very helpful. Would stay again! Very nice area with lots of eating places. Even had a great sunrise to welcome our day!

Staff is very friendly and professional. Motel 6 rooms were excellent and clean clean. looks like they just did the parking lot recently. i loved the view from the motel. very nice place.. will definitely stay hear again and recommend other to choose this place for sure. best for your budget..

Extremely clean (floor and linens is what we pay attention to). Meets all the needs of "I need a comfortable and clean bed and bathroom" for budget travelers. We had a no-pet, no-smoking room and very pleased. Appears to be family run. Very responsive, helpful and professional. Self-serve laundry very clean. No coin machine, come with quarters. Laundry detergent for sale in the vending machine. Best budget room we've stayed in.

Generally, Motel 6 is a no-go for us if there are any other options. That said, we stayed here last year out of necessity and it was fine. Basic but clean with everything we needed and friendly staff, so we decided to stay again while we were in town for a conference. This time was HORRIBLE! The reservations got messed up and they put us in smoking rooms that reeked and said “they might be able to move us for a $240 upcharge!” We didn’t take them up on their “offer” and I bought multiple cans of Lysol, febreeze and glade plug-ins. Beyond the stale cigarette/sleazy bar smell, the blankets were stained, there were bugs in the room, the lights over the sink is not even hooked up so there’s no light, my rags at home are bigger, thicker and cleaner than the bath towels and the only thing now provided is a more than miniature bar of soap. If this were the only option available for next time, I would just cancel my trip! 🤮

At first they gave our room away and switched it to a 1 bed room when we needed 2 beds. Then we requested a new room with 2 beds, non-smoking… we got a smoking room with burn holes and a smoke smell consuming the room. Very sketchy to look at let alone sleep in. Nothing was clean. I had previously looked at reviews that were anywhere from where I am to it being excellent… and let me tell you it was far from excellent. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT TO FEEL SAFE.
