Stayed in Sheedys for 2 nights in September for Lisdoonvarna festival. This hotel is a gem & I would have no hesitation in recommending it . The evening dinner was amazing & the breakfast was outstanding, from real tea leaves in a pot to whiskey porridge ,beautiful pancakes & home made brown bread it was a real treat from start to finish. The weather was miserable but a homely fire was waiting for us. Well done Martina & John.

What a wonderful place to spend two nights! We were with a cycling group and stayed at this beautiful, cozy hotel! Upon arrival, we were greeted with such friendly, helpful people! Our room and bed were so comfortable and our breakfasts and dinners were incredibly delicious! Staying at Sheedy's was an amazing experience and a great way to start our cycling tour! The staff couldn't have been any friendlier or more helpful and they went out of their ways to give us a wonderful experience!

Myself and my partner had an absolutely wonderful two night stay at Sheedy's. Martina was was lovely host and John cooked the most amazing food. After having dinner the first night, it was so good we booked in again for the second night. Each night the food served was delicious and a real treat. Breakfast each morning was a real treat with all the different options available, all prepared freshly. One of the best breakfasts you'll find in any hotel. The room was spacious, warm and quiet. Had a great nights sleep each night. When we are back in the area again, it will definitely be top of my list for returning too. Thanks to Martina, John and all the staff at Sheedy's.

What more can be said - I endorse all the 5 star reviews for Sheedy's. My wife and I enjoyed 2 nights of food and hospitality here. Martina was welcoming and could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious and clean with a warm shower. The food was superb, a good variety and outstanding quality. This was the best experience of the 5 hotels we stayed in during our visit to Ireland. We would go back to Ireland just to stay here and enjoy it all again.

Martina is amazing! Excellent attention to every detail! She knew everyone in our group by name ( there were 18 of us). The best food we had in Ireland, her husband John is brilliant chef, seafood fresh and caught the same day. I would definitely return and would highly recommend!

I would go back to Ireland just to spend an evening and dine at this property. The Sheedy’s “get” the hospitality business and exceed at every detail. My wife and I enjoyed dinner, which was 5 star, the room accommodations were excellent and we fueled up on a lovely breakfast before departing. I would highly recommend a visit!

Very clean and comfortable hotel, with a warm welcome from the owner. However, and without fear of contradiction, Sheedy's is one of the best breakfast venues I have enjoyed anywhere in the world! More often than not, I don't eat where I am staying, unless the recommendations are good. Breakfasts can often be poor, but as they cater for all food preferences, the quality and quantity were exceptionally high standards and this was the best venue for an Irish breakfast of all that we had during our stay, and there were no bad ones!

Myself and my wife spent a night here on 21st of June. It’s a fantastic hotel with one of the nicest hosts that I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. Martina went above and beyond with her welcome and making sure that we had anything that we needed. The food is amazing. I would highly recommend this small hotel to anyone travelling through the Burren. Five

What a wonderful stay in Sheedys. We were so warmly welcomed with refreshments on check_in. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. There was a wonderful choice of dishes for breakfast with homemade breads and jam etc. and everything tasted delicious. We wished we could have stayed for dinner but hopefully we will return to sample that! Go raibh míle maith agaibh!
