Located just 15 minutes from Saddleback Mountain, 5 minutes from downtown Rangeley, 40 min to Sugarloaf, walking distance to Mingo Springs golf course, it’s an ideal retreat for the outdoor enthusiast couple and relaxation seekers alike.You challenged a studio apartment to feel spacious, well challenge accepted. Recently renovated, this studio can comfortably sleep up to 3 adults (with a folding crib also available) and has everything you need to enjoy any season in Rangeley.Through your private entrance in the garage, leave your coats and shoes and make your way up the stairs into the light and airy apartment on the second floor. Before touring the apartment, take in the sweeping views of Rangeley Lake and the surrounding mountains. If there's one thing this apartment isn't lacking, it's windows! Enjoy the views during the day, the sunsets in the evening, and then pull the shades & curtains for a cozy night in with board games or a movie & popcorn. Sleep comfortably on the queen bed with a dual controlled heated mattress cover for those chilly winter Maine nights. A surprisingly large closet can hold all your clothes and travel necessities. The pull up or down honeycomb shade above the bed can provide privacy while also awarding stunning views of the lake and mountains. In the living area, a fold out futon couch can also accommodate a third guest, with bed linens, pillows and comforter provided. Two swivel chairs allow you to sip your coffee in solitude while taking in the views, or turn to socialize with your travel companions. An electric "woodstove" provides heat and ambiance with a wall mounted smart TV above for entertainment. A floor AC unit cools the apartment in the summer. The full kitchen boasts ample counter space complete with coffee bar including a dual drip/k cup coffee maker, and espresso/cappucino maker. Local ground coffee from Carrabassett Coffee Company is provided. You'll find just about everything you need for cooking in this kitchen, including a convection stovetop, large sink, microwave, fridge & freezer, as well as a dishwasher. (Kitchen does not include an oven). Off of the entry way you'll find the full bathroom with a pocket door for privacy. The matching green shower, sink, and toilet give the bathroom charm you wouldn't expect from a studio apartment. All the essentials are provided, including soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, toilet paper and a hair dryer. In the winter, don't forget to throw your bath towel in the bucket towel warmer before stepping into the shower. When you're ready take the short 5 min walk down to the neighborhood shared lake access. In the summer swim out to the swimming dock or relax on the dock benches taking in the views. Bring a picnic or post up on one of the adirondack chairs with a cool beverage in hand. While there is no boat launch, you can easily launch from the downtown Rangeley landing and motor up to the dock for your "all aboard" call. If "sledding" is your favorite outdoor winter activity, this area can be utilized for snowmobile lake access. 5 min to downtown Rangeley, 10 min to Oquossoc, 15 min to Saddleback, 40 min to Sugarloaf, and walking distance to Mingo Spring Golf Course, you're ideally located to adventure in each of Maine's magnificent seasons. Escape to our cabin nestled on 3.5 acres of private enchanting woods in Rangeley, Maine! Ideal for all seasons, our cabin is right down the road from premier skiing at Saddleback Mountain, and connected to tons of trails for hiking, ATV, and snowmobile adventures.Speaking of adventure, our cabin boasts over a 1/4 mile of private wooded trails to explore, a private pond, outdoor yoga platform, and access to our shared dock on Loon Lake (~350ft walk from the house) - which includes use of our kayaks and paddle-board!---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Our three story home has plenty of space for the family (or two) to spread out, while also keeping that quintessential, cozy Maine cabin feel. On the ground floor, you'll find the master bedroom equipped with a king bed, private TV, walk-in stone shower, and direct backyard access. Down the hall is the kids' bunk room and office space, as well as the laundry room and stairway. On the first floor, you'll have plenty of opportunity for family time, with a game room, living space, dining area, and kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, a coffee maker, and more. Upstairs, you'll find our favorite spot for kids and friends - the loft with two queen beds and a private little hangout area overlooking the backyard woods. Access to Loon Lake: About a 350 foot walk to our shared dock on Loon Lake. This is just across the road and in between a couple of other house. Loon Lake is a no motors lake, which makes it great for paddling around safely in a serene environment. Our shared dock primarily serves as a launch point for water craft. It is possible to swim from, however there is better swimming down the road at the public beach on Rangeley Lake. On Loon Lake, we have tremendous Land Locked Salmon, Brook Trout, and much more GREAT fishing!Private Pond: In our backyard, we have a private pond connected to Loon Lake via a stream that runs through our property. It's extremely private, and provides a great area to escape, meditate, cast a line in the water, and enjoy our peaceful woods. Guest Cabin: ** From May - September, you will also have access to the Guest Cabin (last two photos pictured on the listing), which is our personal favorite place to hang out, and houses another queen bed and half bath. Lovely newly renovated private two bedroom apartment with large kitchen and deck off the kitchen. Queen size bedroom and two twin beds. Walking distance from eating establishments, town park, swimming, boating and paddling. There is Ice skating, (free skate rentals across the street) and snow shoeing in winter. Kayaks and paddle boards can be rented by the hour at Haley Pond, as well as snow shoes in the winter. All either across the street or within a very short distance from your accommodations. Haley Pond is across from my house and all you do is CROSS THE POND TO ACCESS SNOWMOBILE TRAILS . The driveway will accommodate two trailers. The village is a fun place.
