Side Spring Hotel

Stayed over Xmas and new year. The owners ,family and staff are lovely and very friendly. The rooms are nice and clean,cleaned every day. I stayed on half board the breakfast was lovely plenty of choice and evening meal buffet once again lovely plenty to choose to suit all tastes. The old town and beach is about 20/25 mins walk. I liked it so much I am back again in September.

Great hotel very clean. room clean everyday. Breakfast was very good. I stayed half bored and I ate every meal in the hotel really nice. The hotel is run by a family that is really nice and friendly and cannot do enough for you. If you ask for anything they see to it right away.

Stayed as part of Easy Jet booking, rooms clean, a little dated. Food lovely, on site bar, staff lovely and helpful. Walking distance to beach and old village. Only down was pool not available for 18-25 nov time and I would have used this daily

Hello, I was there from 1st to 10th of October. I want to mention from the beginning that I have never posted a hotel review. I had the opportunity to stay in many hotels during my vacations. Someone must tell the real truth. I will mention not only the negative ones. 1) The Internet is quite good even on the 2nd floor and it's free. 2) Every morning at 10 and 11 a.m. there is a free minivan (very old) that transports you from the hotel to Blue Beach and back at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. free of charge. 3) The sunbed allocated to this hotel is also free. 4) The only members of the hotel staff who are really realistic and polite are the young waiter, about 22-25 years old, and the receptionist (also a man) of about the same age. By chance, these two speak and understand English.In total, 3 members of the hotel understand and speak English. I think the 3rd is the manager or even the owner, but I will come back to him later because it is good to know what kind of fake person he is. What is negative: the food! me and my wife not being picky and we don't have any allergies to the ingredients either! We went "half board" but we regretted it because for the same price and the same 10 days I was in Alanya in May at the Club Big Blue Suite Hotel and almost everything was super,food,staff(all inclusive!). Every morning at Spring it was the same boring food, boiled eggs, some boiled vegetables without a bit of taste. Someone said here what a great barbecue near the pool on weekends, wrong! Only once a week (Tuesday) - I know because I stayed for 10 days and I saw it twice. That was really tasty and that so-called chef would give you drumstick and then look at you like "what, isn't it enough?" But what bothered me the most was the following incident: I am a heavy smoker and I insured myself by taking with me everything related to rolled cigarettes (tobacco, filters, papers and especially the rolling machine). Spain when I couldn't find some of these things and that's why I insured myself during my stay in Turkey. One of the afternoons before leaving the room I hung the "Do not disturb" sign on the outside of the door handle because we don't want them to clean our room because it was clean. Ofcourse when we cameback around 5pm that sign it was no longer on the door but inside, the cleaning lady had arranged the room again and threw all my things related to cigarettes in the trash who knows where. Basically, it was a bag with all these items,items very difficult to find in other countries,exept tobacco. I went to the reception and this time it wasn't that young man who speaks English so I tried to explain to the ladies who are part of the manager's family what happened. Finally they called the manager and he arrived after about 30 min.I explained the whole phase that I posted that sign on the door and it's no excuse that the cleaner doesn't know English, working in the hospitality for many years she should know wh

Had a 10 night stay at this family run hotel with good first impressions after arriving at almost midnight and being offered ( free ) tea or coffee.There is also free water available 24 hours in fridge in restaurant area.Everything about the bedroom was good,a little verandah with table, chairs and washing line and pool view ( all rooms had this) I don't like showers so found the cubicle quite small, doors tricky to shut and very fine line between water too cold and too hot. There were no shelves or storage for your toiletries.The food was good, evening meals quite spicy and no description so not quite sure what we were eating.Dessert usually fruit.There is a free bus to the hotel's free beach, twice daily both ways.The toilets there are good but the beach cafe quite expensive for what you get.The family are very friendly and helpful,even little 2 years old Emir likes to ask you if your meal is all ok.Onlyl downside was the distance from anything you could walk to,half an hour in temperature of around 30 degrees,to a beach, shops,Cafe's/restaurants and the very interesting ancient ruins.Managvat is worth a visit on the local bus for a boat trip.

The 1st time I have been away on my own & I couldn't of wished for any thing more, this small family run hotel is described as a budget hotel, I was very impressed with Side Spring, the owner & his lovely family made you feel so very welcome, the rooms were a very good size & very clean, beds comfortable & pillows lovely, the food was of very good quality & a good selection, every night we had different choices & at the weekend a bar-b-que by the pool, the pool was fantastic & u could use it up till 10pm, also it's the same depth all the way round with a baby pool on the side but no slides which I liked, because then there isn't lots of children, If your just looking for a quite laid back do nothing break then here is ideal, food is available all day from the bar next to the pool, the food was excellent & so reasonably priced, there is a free shuttle from the hotel to the private beach which takes about 5 minutes & brings you back later, the beach was lovely & sunbed's & umbrella's were free of charge, the bar on the beach also does food which again was very reasonable & very delicious. The area is a bit quite but if you walk a little way there are shops & restaurants also a market on a Saturday morning, next time I am going to explore more but I was very content just lazing around the pool & eating. I will most definately return here & will have 10 days next time, very nice plants around the hotel & the gardens very well maintained, every thing about Side Spring is a positive & I can't wait to return with my family this time.
