Lustiges Ressort mit freundlicher Besatzung. Auch wenn einiges wackelt und ausgeleiert ist - die Stimmung unter den Gästen und den Angestellten war ausgezeichnet.

This place was probably amazing in its day and has the potential to be great with a lot of tlc. It is dated, and the occasional cockroach in the buffet and dirty chairs and toilet that never flushed inspite of reporting it multiple times( needed a bucket of water) and super slow a la carte service made it feel like glamping, but the staff were super friendly. At the end of the day it's not luxury but if you want a no frills place with a beautiful beach and super friendly staff this is a good spot. Elvis from the entertainment team and Raul (wait staff) as well as Carlos (customer service) really were amazing!. So all in all there is much to be fixed with this place but I am still grateful for the time here and will cherish these memories. I hear the place will undergo renovations so would like to see that

Upon arrival at Starfish Cayo Guillermo, we are always greeted by the more than friendly, kind & caring staff, with big smiles & even bigger hearts! We have travelled 5x to this exact location. The customer service staff & bell boys are incredible & helpful. Our rooms are clean. The buffet is freshly prepared & generous. All staff- The cooks, wait staff, bartenders, cleaners & gardeners aim to please all guests. Greeting everyone with a genuine smile. Starfish is our paradise, offering kite surfing, kayaking, clean prestine beaches, nightly entertainment & amazing staff on all levels! Our Home Away From Home!

No one ever gets a 5 out of 5, there is always room for improvement but this is Cuba! They bust their butts to keep you happy and we shouldn’t complain, this is Cuba-if you want 5 Star go elsewhere! We have stayed at Starfish Cayo Guillermo many times and will continue because we enjoy what they have to offer. We were not able to have a wooden bungalow because their numbers are down and rather than spread their cleaning staff thin, we were given another room right on the beach. Our room was cleaned daily and if we needed anything, she delivered!! It pays to be considerate to their staff……..don’t demand, ask nicely. The food was great, never any shortages of anything, roasted turkey just about everyday and I have found that the fruit gets better as we go more into spring. If they don’t have the drink you wanted for supper, go to the bar after supper and get it there. We will definitely be returning there next spring………Sunwing isn’t my 1st choice of airlines but I was expecting better from them seeing as they were bought by WestJet.

Very clean! Friendly staff that is always there to help with whatever you need. They have a kids club, and the kids love it. Going back this April. Can't wait. We never went hungry, and the food is fresh. Best beach. You can walk for miles. We love Starfish Cayo Guillermo ❤️
