Chongqing Manyue Hotel (Jiefangbei Hongyadong Branch)

This hotel deserves 5 stars as the staff were so helpful and kind! They gave me restaurant recommendations through WeChat and helped me use the washer and dryer as they were all in Chinese. I booked this hotel last minute after checking out of my original hotel which looked nothing like the pictures. No issues at this place, the pictures for this hotel are really accurate! The room was huge with soft comfortable beds and no traffic noise; I also loved the cute tea set provided! Within walking distance to the station and easy to get to all the attractions, highly recommended!

Do not let yourself fool you by the entrance! When the elevator doors open on the fourth floor, you are in a different world! A fantastically done new Hotel with amazing Riverview, if booked so. Left the room and everything about it. One of the best ever showers experienced in a hotel room and people were all very helpful and friendly. Location close to the Monterey is also great and supports discovering this unique city. Would stay again, when in Chongqing next time.

We LOVE this hotel!!! The bed was sooo comfortable and we got a view of the Yangtze River as well. Rain shower was strong and very relaxing. The staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful. The location was good as well, it’s just a couple minutes of walk to Daxigou station (line 2). Lastly, the free snacks provided in the hotel room are so addictive 😅 we will definitely stay here again next time ❤️

We stayed for about 5 nights. We were there during a huge heat wave, thankfully the hotel aircon was working very well unlike the shopping mall air conditioners. The hotel room was very clean and spacious, shower and toilets were working well with strong water pressure, you can call "xiaodu xiaodu" to ask the smart app to on/off the lights and curtains. The cleaning lady is very friendly and we greet her everyday. The hotel breakfast selection is small but good enough for us to get the quick bite before heading out for the day. The hotel lobby is on the 4th floor and our rooms were on the 5th floor. Our view is of the Jialing river, it was very nice. The metro station is directly on the right of the hotel building (left from room view), we could see the train pass as we have our breakfast and even from our rooms (pass below). We can't hear the train so it's not noisy. A lot of popular locations are a short didi ride away.

The hotel and the staff is good. The only problem is the design of its bathroom. The shower can be seen from the bed( As shown on the picture ). It causes great inconvenience for a family with teenage girls.

Very nice location, clean and good service. Yummy and alot of choises breakfast. Room is big and views amazing.

Chongqing Manyue Hotel exceeded our expectations and made our sty in Chongqing nothing short of amazing. Firstly, the location is perfect, only a very short walk from the metro stop. Very close to some great attractions. A room with the riverview will provide the most amazing view night and day. Service was always friendly, genuine and more than accommodating. Breakfast is a bargain, again, with superb views of of the city. We ventured to the neighborhood behind the hotel and found local shops and eateries which offered warm and friendly encounters with locals (bbq in the markets was a memorable meal) We stayed in the suite and cannot gush more about it. We will definitely stay here when we visit Chongqing.

I like the hotel so convenient for everything . And people work there so friendly give it 5 stars
