The location is superb and the reception service is excellent! However the room is smelly (probably because of the toilet)

The hotel is located near the Jiefangbei business district, with a good geographical location and convenient transportation. The hotel's delivery robot is very good in terms of privacy and security. The room has floor-to-ceiling windows and the courtyard environment is beautiful.

The room was satisfactory, convenient to go out, convenient transportation, Xiao Yang at the front desk was enthusiastic, the room was intelligent guest control and the surrounding have a lot restaurants is really very convenient. Few min walk to 十八楼 and train station. The water pressure very big.

Location is superb. Alot of shops and eateries outside hotel. All the front staff were very helpful. They also added us to wechat in case we need assistance while outside. Best is the smart room, can ask to play songs, ask weather conditions, arrange wake up call. Even can ask distance to destination. We enjoyed the AI service. I'll return to this hotel should I visit CQ again.

Location is great. Got a free room upgrade from the hotel. The only complaint is that the aircond only have hot mode during winter as its control by centralised place. I didn't know this and the hotel never inform me so I didn't get a good night sleep as the room becomes warmer and warmer until 32 degrees Celsius. Other than that, it was a nice hotel.

Hotel in good location, choices of foods are available. Room design with smart devices and love the room design. Reception staff 摇摇 is very helpful and friendly. She even assist us to book for local travel trip and offer all arrangement in her own times. She is worth to recognise with her work passion Downside - hotel entrance doesn't have proper walkway for luggage, quite difficult to move the luggage up to lobby and lifts. Needed improvement.

Wonderful Stay at Gemi-city Courtyard Garden Hotel – Heartfelt Thanks to the Amazing Staff! My husband and I recently stayed at Gemei Hotel in Chongqing for 7 nights, and we had a truly pleasant experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly counter staff , Xiao Yang who was ready to help with a smile. We would like to give a special compliment to Xiao Yang, who went above and beyond her duties to make our stay enjoyable. Despite her busy duty she patiently helped us book day trips and took the time to teach us how to use Alipay, navigate the train system, and even use local GPS apps to get around the city. Her kindness and helpfulness really stood out. Another big thanks goes to Xiao Yan, who assisted us in transferring to a different room when we encountered issues with the shower drainage system. The new room was much quieter, away from the noise of the nearby stalls, and we were very thankful for his quick and thoughtful action. We’re also grateful to Xiao Chu, who kindly accompanied us to the pick-up point for our free one-day city tour. It made a huge difference to us, especially as first-time visitors to Chongqing. One small suggestion would be to consider adding an escalator or a lift for guests with heavy luggage. We felt bad that the staff had to help us carry our increasingly heavy suitcases during check-out — it’s not easy work, and we really appreciate their help! All in all, we had a very good experience and would definitely recommend Gemei Hotel to our friends and family. Thank you again to all the wonderful staff for your warm hospitality!

First impression: There is no direct road leading to the hotel via car. You'll have to drop off by the roadside, go down the pedestrian street before reaching the hotel. It takes 2 flight of stairs before actually reaching the hotel lobby, and another short flight of stairs to get to the lift. Plenty of shops nearby! From breakfast to steamboat to bakery to fruit stalls to milk tea. Everything is available downstairs. Laundry room is located at the roof top of the hotel which was so eerie the first time we went (it was at night and no lights at all). However washer and dryer was always available while we needed it (no need to queue). Weird layout. There isn't a door for the bathroom. Once you step out of the shower cubicle you're in front of the basin which doesn't have a door before leading to the common area. There also isn't a hook to hang your clothes in the shower. Ie, if you wanna get dressed in the shower, you'll have to open the shower screen, grab your clothes from 1m away, before heading back into the cubicle to get dressed. Alternatively, you step out of the shower, but risk being seen by your roommates as you get dressed while standing at the sink area. Why???? There's Xiao Du, their version of Alexa/Google nest that is quite cute. She will answer questions regarding weather and gives daily news updates.

Nice and new hotel. Very convenient to walk around all the tourist places

If you carry big and heavy luggages might have difficulties to pull up to hotel as you have to walk the entrance staircase and the slope is very steep. Overall service is good, surround have lot of food and near to tourist points.

Worst experience that I have ever had at a hotel anywhere in Asia. To start off, the counters in our room were dirty with stains and so were a few of the pillows we had. My group was looking forward to visiting chongqing, but the night that we arrived, they assigned us a room with a broken water heater. The following morning, one of us became ill after showering with water that alternated between burning hot and freezing. The hotel offered to reimburse us for the costs of buying medicine, but never followed up with us or the pharmacy during our 4 day stay. We still haven’t received any reimbursement. In addition, when we wanted to communicate with the hotel manager about the issue, we were met with a horrible attitude and they attempted to point the blame at us by saying that our group member was already feeling unwell prior to taking the shower. I’m extremely disappointed in the hotel manager’s attitude because not only was no apology offered at all, they tried gaslight and blame us for their mistakes. Finally, the overall service at the hotel felt discriminating because the staff all seemed reluctant to answer my inquiries, especially after we spoke with the manager that day.

Overall ok

Very nice, spacious and clean room. Lots of nice eateries and shopping malls (e.g. Deyi world) outside hotel. Will book again next time.
