Fine for a night, simple room, clean, in the middle of Chichester. Only downside, WiFi only free for 30min. Then you need to pay. In order to do so, you need to call a number which is difficult if you don’t have a European SIM card. It is 3pounds for 24h.

Too hot and airless No air conditioning I could only stay the first one night as so sick from room temperature and Travelodge refused to refund the remaining four nights when I complained and said I would have to find alternative accommodation.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had globally. Stayed 5 nights for business and it was an ordeal from start to finish. The room had no ventilation, no air conditioning, and only a tiny, dust-clogged fan struggling against indoor temperatures around 30°C, while it was 25°C during the day and 17°C at night outside. Impossible to breathe, let alone rest. The mattress was uncomfortable, the pillow was equally bad, making any restful sleep out of the question. This was not just disappointing. It was unacceptable. I’ve stayed in hotels across countries and this ranks among the absolute worst. Strongly recommend avoiding this place, especially if you care about sleep, comfort, or basic hygiene.
