The beautiful scenic mountains & serenity make the long drive fm Taipei worthwhile. Our room has an open view of the padi field & mountains. Air so fresh & totally chilled out. The balcony is so cozy we had tea & snack enjoying the view. Hotpot dinner is excellent veg r fresh. Breakfast has a good variety. Ambience is exceptional, Great place. Highly Recommended 👍

The room was clean and comfortable. Right outside is the balcony to watch sunrise and sunset. Hotpot dinner was great (at additional cost) and the breakfast buffet was so good! Had a great stay overall and highly recommend

Located near the Eryanping trail, the place is really very picturesque. The room was very clean and relatively well maintained. The view from the room was superb. Breakfast is served in another building and the food is the same everyday. Only takes payment by cash so watch out for this. We didn’t try the dinner so we can’t speak about that. Very satisfied overall with the stay here.

We would love to come back here just for relaxation. There are a couple of trails here to challenge and be rewarded with nice views and scenery. The resort is also instagramable and those who love to take lot of nice photos won't be disappointed. It is family-operated. The dinner is a must-have and they serve delicious high quality hotpot at a reasonable price. We really enjoyed our dinner and there is free flow drinks provided. Breakfast is provided and seated by the window facing the tea farm is a relaxing way to enjoy our first meal of the day and planning where to visit next. Highly recommended as the staffs were friendly and room is very clean. 

Our stay at the SunSweet house was fantastic. The rooms were exceptionally clean and modern, with comfortable beds and great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Its a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. I recommend this SunSweet house 💚🌼

Sunsweet House on Alishan Mountain is a charming place to stay, offering warm hospitality and incredibly helpful staff who go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The rooms are cozy and clean, and the location is ideal for exploring the area. While the breakfast options are more catered to local tastes and limited for Western travelers, the overall experience is delightful and highly recommended for those visiting Alishan

Rooms are stylish, comfortable and offers fantastic views of the tea hills. Furnishing are tasteful and hi-tech at the same time. Breakfast and dinner are beyond delicious and leaves you wanting more. Perfect place to unwind, relax, take a hike to see the sunrise, sunset, cloud formations, stars etc. Highly recommend to spend 2 nights. The price point is on the higher side but trust me, it is worth it. Bonus points for the beyond adorable house cats “Mico and Orange” and mutt “Pang Pang” as well as the 2 puppies this family has just taken in. Host is extremely helpful and easy to talk to. PLEASE COME HERE IF YOU ARE VISITING ALISHAN.

Booked two rooms, very comfortable room. Awesome Dinner & breakfast. Highly recommend to friends who are interested.

Friendly staff and the breakfast are very tasty. The location may not be the best and some amenities are broken but not affecting the stay. And the view is great.

Best stay in Alishan area. Hygiene is excellent, cozy, very delicious dinner and breakfast buffet that taste like home. Breakfast pour over coffee was purely brewed by the staff with high quality beans. It is located 10 mins walk away from the bus station, driving a car will be more convenient.

Beautiful scenery and excellent service from the accommodation owner. Besides having all the basic amenities, they also meticulously provided us with umbrellas for wet weather as well as great daily breakfast spread and hospitality from the service staff. We also had hotpot dinner during our first night stay which was sumptuously prepared by their restaurant team and we get to enjoy a variety of organic vegetables, mostly grown and freshly picked by them.

Hotel is as described on the platform. Payment has to be cash only. Rooms are clean and the views from balcony is perfect. Short walk to Eryanping walking trails perfect spot to see sunset, sea of clouds. Great base to explore Alishan!

This has been the nicest place we stayed at in Taiwan. The scenery is unsurpassed and the hotel is luxurious. We loved hiking in the tea fields. The service was impeccable. Thank you !! Took bus 7322 from chiayi to Xiding - it’s a short walk to the hotel. Then next day 7233 to Alishan.
