The hotel is located inside Alishan Township, which makes it easy to get around. The room is spacious and suitable for two couples, and the place is generally clean and convenient. However, the restroom has a strong smell, possibly due to the hotel being quite old.

This is my second time visit Alishan, the first time was last year .To walk from Alishan bus station to Gua Shan Ching is painful if you need to carry your luggage to the uphill road, the hotel didn’t provide shuttle to the bus station .The cleanliness of the toilet can be further improved, the bedsheet is white and clean. The food at 山芝卿are quite good especially the 贵妃魚and Beef . I had dinner for all the 3 nights there, hiking up 塔山is quite tough, it took me 3 hours to hike up with raining day.

Clean, staff can speak and understand basic english. Fair price, they have free breakfast too but different location.

The hotel’s location is decent—central enough to access main areas, though not particularly scenic or lively. The room was quite small, feeling cramped with luggage, and the service was basic (no frills or warm hospitality). A minor but noticeable inconvenience: no complimentary water bottle in the room, which would’ve been appreciated after a day of travel.
It’s functional for a one-night stay if you just need a place to sleep, but I wouldn’t recommend it for longer visits. Manage expectations and pack light!

Hotel is very old . Room is very small . Hot water only available from 4pm to next morning 8am. No kettle in the room but there is one hot/cold water dispenser next to the lift. Most likely would try other hotel if I happen to be there again

Quite run down hotel and room but for the price and location still quite worth it since its next to alishan train station. Don’t expect too much from the hotel staff.

Right at the Alishan, great location. Do not expect too much on the cleanliness. Very dirty that we had to bring on disposable bed sheets and room floor is very dirty. No food at the hotel, you need to walk up the stairs to the Alishan central to have breakfast at one of the restaurants (depending on which restaurant they partner with each week/month).
