Last night at the hotel we moved to a 3 bed room. It had a big shower and a giant balcony. Staff was very friendly and even helped my friend with a ride to the post office. Gardener guy was very kind and turned on the pool keys whenever he saw us. Such a beautiful hotels only 2 restaurants in walking distance but close to airport and town. Great place!

和去浮羅交怡的moutain villiage差不多，很土著居住的地方，早餐的Hall也非常有格調。老闆人很好，交流英文。雨季不太推薦住，怕洪水

태국 전통 가옥 스타일의 단독 주택이 여러채로 구성되어 있는 호텔입니다. 중정에는 잘 꾸며진 정원과 수영장이 있어서, 특히 유유자적하게 쉬려는 사람들에게 잘 어울리는 숙소 입니다. 직원분들도 매우 친절하셨어요.

Beautiful stay and a real gem in chiang mai. Great location away from the hustle and bustle set in greenery we absolutely loved. 40mins walk into chiang mai old town with 7 eleven a 5mins walk and several bars and restaurants within 10mins walk. Hotel staff are helpful and do all they can to make your stay feel 5*. We arrived super early at 6.30am off a sleeper bus from Bangkok and the staff dod evwrything they could to accommodate us and get our room ready asap once it was checked out of. Room was massive and immaculate with super comfy big bed. Having a little veranda space and pool was heaven and the staff put out incense every evening to stop the mosquitos. Breakfast was simple but super fresh and tasty. We spent 4 days here and were sad to leave.

So tranquil and well needed after a long flight. A great place to recover from jetlag. So quiet! Staff are all lovely. Breakfast was absolutely fine for what we wanted/needed. The seating areas everywhere, the architecture, the plants, the pool... just beautiful. There is no restaurant on site so you do have to leave the place for food and drinks although i know others used Grab services. It cost us 110 Baht to get a grab to Wat U Mong and 150 Baht in a tuk tuk back from inside the old walls one night (we had walked there which took 30 minutes).

Lovely and quiet hotel and enjoyed the stay..our room was on the ground floor but there were no disturbances..the room was very large and clean with a lot of antique furniture.. breakfast was just the right items - a good blend of Thai and non Thai items. The only downside of the hotel is the location - far from the main town centre - a vehicle ride is required..apart from that, everything was perfect.

We loved this property. Whilst in Thailand we did a tour so stayed in a lot of different accommodations, this had the best bed and the best pillows. The rooms are beautiful, large and very clean. We would highly recommend this property. The location is slightly away from the main area but it does not pose and issue at all with the Grab taxi usually only taxi a couple of minutes to arrive and costing less than 100 baht to get to most places. We loved everything about this property and the staff were amazing.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hongkhao Village. We stayed in the family room, a triple room and a double room and all rooms and beds were great. The kids loved the pool and the whole hotel has this great relaxed vibe. Service and breakfast was excellent. We will diffenately come back if we visit Chiang Mai again.

We spent 5 nights at Hongkhao Village and it was an outstanding place to stay. The rooms are spotless clean and beautifully decorated in traditional Thai style very comfortable bed and bathroom. The tropical gardens and pool area are beautiful with many reading and seating nooks. the location is quiet being away from the main street. All the staff are amazingly helpful and nothing is too much trouble best you would find anywhere. The breakfast buffet is set in a tropical style atrium area and the selection of cooked dishes and fresh food is sensational.

Lovely hotel, excellent staff. Beautiful setting. Amazing pool. Wonderful breakfast. Comfy beds. Clean rooms. Lovely big shower. Good location. Extremely affordable rates. We spent six nights here and the absolute best thing about the place was the staff. The 3 ladies on reception, the cleaning staff, the gentlemen around the site and the woman who made breakfast with a smile every morning. Thank you so very much. As soon as you walk into this amazing paradise you can forget all your worries. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The gardens lush and inviting and full of shady spots. The pool is incredible and relaxing. The rooms are just lovely - so comfortable and well set up. The markets and old town are a quick tuk tuk or taxi ride away. You will not regret staying here - book now!

Everything was excellent. The staff are uber friendly and helpful, with good English skills. The hotel property and rooms make you feel like you have stepped back in time, without sacrificing comfort and modern conveniences. Breakfast is in a charming atmosphere, making you feel very relaxed as you enjoy a well-prepared buffet breakfast. The only thing I would recommend to the owners is that they provide some sort of furniture with drawers in it to place your clothes. There is plenty of closet space, but no place to place your foldable clothes. Also, the internet can be a little slow when everyone is in the hotel at one time in the evenings and early mornings. If you are ordering a taxi or food delivery, make sure you have the staff nearby. The hotel is stuck down a small street, and the delivery drivers and taxis have a difficult time finding the street. You will need someone from the staff to talk with them and give directions, unless you speak Thai. This really is a must stay if you are looking for unique and special. It is a little distance from city center (5-6 km perhaps), but you can rent a motorcycle or GRAB taxis are not very expensive.

I've been to this hotel before. Nice hotel, so I decided to make a reservation again. I emailed them (address found on their website) and they replied to me with the quotation. After payment I didn't hear anything back from them. After asking for the confirmation they replied to me (by same email address) that they never have received the money and I should pay again. I have asked my company staff (who lives nearby the hotel) to visit the hotel and ask what went wrong. The hotel staff said that the hotel's email account was hacked. A criminal was using this email account as well. So it seems that a criminal received my money and not the hotel. As the hotel is responsible to secure their email account I asked for a solution. I know internet security awareness in Thailand is low, so my proposal was to pay 50% of the reservation cost for the full stay. They didn't agree, because they said the hotel was almost full and they could sell the same room for the full price to someone else. We asked for the manager/owner. The hotel staff don't want to bring us in contact with the manager. The hotel staff doesn't know how secure their email, so the criminal still has access to their email account. What happened to me could happen again to someone else. The hotel doesn't take any responsibility in this. So when you consider to book over here it's good that you are aware of this.
