Puripunn is nestled in a quiet alleyway, 5 to 10min away from the busy old town area. A decent location for quiet vacation. Staff are very friendly and helpful, i wanted to thank them for the thoughful Christmas ornaments given to each room.
Will come back for my next trip if i wanted a relaxing and chilled vacation.

Outstanding hotel with fantastic staff that always give you a warm welcome when arriving at the hotel. Delicious food in the restaurant lovely bar where the Staff know how to mix cocktails correctly, for your pre or after dinner drinks and a pool & jacuzzi to cool down in after a long day travelling. Decor of rooms has been done very tastefully. A definite hotel to return to when in Chiang Mai
Svar fra overnatningssted: Dear guests, First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing Puripunn Hideaway as a place to stay while you were traveling in Chiang Mai. We are sorry to hear about your experience during your stay. Please allow us to explain in detail as follows: Ants issue: For your information, we are a small boutique hotel surrounded by lush beautiful garden so that our beloved guests can get close to the nature. On the other hand, we do realize that there could be insects as part of the nature of tropical garden as well. For some guests who had sweet snack in the room and had a left over, this will certainly attract ants especially during the rainy season as the ants tend to escape from the rain during this time of the year. We do realize about this fact and that’s why we have pest control to do the services regularly (once a month interval). As for the ants at the restaurant, this is the same case as our guests always have sweet deserts during breakfast and might have left some stain of jams or other sweet desert on the table and fabric. We already ordered a glass cover on top of the table to minimize this problem. Our dedicated housekeeping team are always doing their best to clean the room which we normally do the major room cleaning during the day time and once more during the turn down bed services. We are not sure if you had informed us about this problem while they were staying with us or not. Normally, if any issue has arise, we will try our best to resolve the issue for our dear guests. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience that may cause. Late Check-out request: At Puripunn Hideaway, we always trying our best to make our guests feel comfortable and happy. In case of requesting for a late check out, we will see what we can do (subject to room availability). There might be the case that if that specific room/rooms are needed as the upcoming guests’ requirement such as they need the room next to each other, we have to inform the current guests who requested for late check-out that we can not accept their request. Please note that we have 30 rooms with 5 room types and each room types have limited number of rooms and we are very busy during July period. Imagine hotel booking calendar as a “Tetris” game where each block represent each booking which have different length of stay and we have to make each booking to be fit in. In this case that the guest rechecked room availability on the online booking site (let say they searching for one night same day only), they might find room availability for that night. However, we can not move the upcoming guests who requested specific room type as they could be staying for more than one night with some specific requirements. However, when the guest did a searching, they might find some the room type available for one night only on that certain date. This might cause guest’ misunderstanding. Please ensure that we will always find the best options for our dear guests with our integrity and honesty. Thank you very much once again for your stay, and we wish you all the very best.
