Red Roof Inn Chester

The staff was friendly. The breakfast offerings were paltry and effortless with barely palatable coffee ☕️. Water temperature in the Bath/Shower was lukewarm at best. Refrigerator in the room and Microwave worked well. There are plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance so a central stopping place for sure. The hotel fits a need if one exists.

The room had no phone book,no food delivery info,no tissue,no hair dryer,no coffee pot,not enough towels,and not enough soap.Water in shower was not hot and commode wobbled .Walls were splattered and window was filthy.You felt like you were being punished for something because you felt denied and unwelcome.People were loitering on front bench ,and a woman was begging in the parking lot.There was lots of noise and activity late at night.I asked for a wake up call but never got it.This place is pet friendly but people are not overly nice.There is no real breakfast---some packs of muffins and some sliced bread and toaster and cereal .Coffee was okay but not brewed early enough so you could get a cup early in the morning.I was so glad to check out.I will not return.

Booked this hotel for my husband for his drive back to NJ From Florida, he was bringing a trailer, said the parking was fantastic for his needs, asked him about the room, he said it was CLEAN AND UPDATED , everything was new he said. The location was great and plenty of food options and he had a great nights sleep, OK I told him we would stay here again on our travels from Florida to NJ it's about 12 hours from our home in Dunedin fl, !! He really liked it and said it was nice. ROOM 127 #

We love the new look of Red Roof. So, ofc we booked this hotel for our trip. This particular hotel was not especially clean. It LOOKS clean, but when you look closer, you see hair and dirt in the beds. Broken / slow drains. Greasy remotes and broken lights. This particular location- we will not stay here again.
