Arrived early around 7:30 am. Was only gonna drop off my luggage and head out. But the staff was so friendly and checked if there was any room available. So I was able to check in early. It’s a classic hotel. Great location. Very close to the shopping district and restaurants. 10 mins walk to subway station. Safe for female traveller.

The hotel receptionist was friendly and nice as we checkin very early in the morning. Luckily they have someone to assist us during checkin. Drinks and snacks were provided as complimentary at the lobby area. The hotel is very near to food, spa and shopping area. Just right opposite tai koo li area. They even gave us a canvas bag with panda design on our check out day as a souvenir. Delivered my Taobao parcel and they helped to collect for me and assist me the location to collect them from the storage cupboard available nearby the hotel.

35–40 minutes taxi ride from Chengdu Tianfu Airport Location was not hard to find. Construction happening near the entrance to the hotel. 24 hour reception, that’s a plus, I arrived around 3am and checking in was a breeze. Got one keycard and room only gets powered on by inserting. (Including ac) 2 out of 3 elevators working, not an issue until its peak time for workers as the building shares the hotel and office buildings. You may have to wait 5-6 minutes for an elevator. Also, people here are not shy in squeezing in on the elevator for some reason. I was on the 16th floor. My only issue was that the soundproofing is really bad, the cleaning staff room was next to my room so I heard every door slam for almost 2-3 hours daily. It’s April, it gets chilly at night and hot in the morning. The air con remote never went below 26 even when I changed it to 21-22. The air blowing speed actually works, at night in the middle of your sleep you will get cold! Haha The television is a little outdated but who watches television while on vacation?? The outlet and plugs are a huge plus! Having usb to it really helped. Washing clothes was great! It was on the 2nd floor and it was free including detergent. The only nightmare was the dryers. 4 washing machines 2 dryers. The dryers did not dry at all, atleast for me and another person after one hour of only drying sleepwear. So I took them back tot he room and hung them on the hangers (6) provided in the closet. The hotel is next to two pharmacies. The nearest family mart is across the street and you have to take the above head pedestrian walkway over, which is quite a walk. Check out was a breeze. I would definitely come again.

Excellent service! The reception staff are very helpful n enthusiastic in helping with my queries on getting around Chengdu. Location is great too, cross the bridge and you are into Chunxi average to mid level shopping area. It's near to Chunxi road subway too 600m away, if only it's even nearer haha. Had a wonderful time staying there for a few nights☺️

Wonderful stay...rooms are a bit outdated but clean..5 mins walk from chunxi road.. plenty of rest of good restaurants nearby..breakfast was good..service is excellent..

This hotel is a traditional hotel with old classic design. The main reason for me to stay this hotel is the hotel location is super near and convenient for me to walk to the main entrance of Mirui Shopping Mall (less than 2 mins walking distance) to take the 7.00am public shuttle bus from Chengdu city to Shenshuping Panda Base in the early morning. Of course the hotel is also near to the famous Chunxi Road Shopping Street. Although the hotel is a bit old, but it js still clean enough. I love the complimentary fruits and snacks provided in the room by the hotel.

Chunxi station is about 10 mins away. If carrying luggage will be challenging. As there is a big road between hotel and station. If need to go to the shopping area need to cross the road again. Either cross with the traffic light with lots of car or a overhead bridge.

Strategic location, walking distance to Chunxi Rd. Many restaurants nearby. The room is a little outdated. Breakfast is excellent!

The breakfast items were mostly delish. Service was good and they provided a fruit welcome gift. I reached early and they let me check in since the room was free. During booking I alrd informed I don't want a corridor room but they called to inform me that only corridor room is for solo travelers. I accepted it but I think they are really responsible and honest hoteliers

The hotel is in a great location and offers excellent service. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff. Walking distance to shops, theatre, restaurants and amenities. A friend dropped her watch which they kept it for us until we returned to Chengdu 10days later. We joined the tour company located on the ground floor with a reasonable price. Overall we had a great experience with the hotel. Highly recommended for anyone, it is a child-friendly hotel too.

Good location and everything were great except the lift got problem

We are pleasantly surprised by the standard of the hotel, clean and comfortable, excellent service of the front office and housekeeping, the provision of laundry facilities is an extra bonus! We highly recommend the hotel.

It’s a super nice hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It’s almost like 5stars quality but budget pricing. Will stay again if I go to Chengdu hotel.
