Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. They insisted to help us with the luggage even though we could manage on our own. The room was spotlessly clean. Kids toothbrush and disposable slippers are provided which made my children inclusive. Location was walking distance (less than 10 mins) from Tonghuimen station. Special thanks to Joey and Kimberly for making our stay a memorable one.

The hotel is Amazing, traditional style,located in the famous Kuan zhai alley right in front of the Famous sichuan opera house that is one of the best things to see in Chengdu , it's also near the metro and people's park. cleanliness,calmness, free laundry,amazing teahouse and a good restaurant... The manager Frank, and the staff counter Kimberley ，belle ,Zoey and the others are more like a family with their excellent service Their dedication is what makes this place more than just a hotel to help the foreigners overcome the challenges of communication in China. I highly recommend this hotel for every traveller not only foreigners And i will certainly book again in Wenjunloo

Love the location: 5 mins walk to train station, walking distance to kuan Zhai alley, right opposite the 川剧 Good service: helpful counter staff with WeChat support Good food with reasonable price. Breakfast has good varieties too. Note: hotel only have staircase, 4 levels. Request for ground floor if it’s easier for you

The location is really good - close to metro and on really beautiful street. Restaurant is really good - we tried eat out as well, but this restaurant was much better. It is clean and personal is really nice and helpful. Also provides free laundry service.

Families-friendly hotel. The hotel staffs are extremely helpful and answered almost all our requests.The hotel manger Frank has gone extra miles and provided us valuable tips and guidance that helps us a lot in planning our trips during our entire stay in Chengdu.

If you are travelling to Chengdu, I can wholeheartedly recommend staying at Wenjunlou hotel. The staff: Frank, Kimberley and Zoey are very friendly and helpful. They also speak the best English of any hotel I have stayed in during my month in China. The restaurant serves delicious food, and the location is ideal for visiting the museums nearby.

I highly recommend this place to stay as long as you can in Chengdu. First, people from reception. Very welcome, always helping you with advices. Big hug to Frank, he is amazing person and doing his job perfectly well. Rooms in beautiful Chinese style, big and clean. Location is perfect and price definitely reasonable. Just stay here, you won't regret👍

Great location near the subway line 2 or you can take the taxi to IFS building cost around 13-14 yuan. The staffs are great with the full service with mind. The hotel restaurant also nice. Breakfast is great. Recommended!!

A short walk away from Tonghuimen station (Line 2). Direct line to Chengdu East Railway Station for train to Jiuzhaigou. Would definitely come again. Note that there is no lift so may be a consideration for elderly guests.

The hotel is fantastic! Frank and all the staff were very kind and helpful. The room was large, clean and spacious. Excellent location with a nearby metro stop. Excellent food and services. Refrigerator in the room (not easy to find). When I left, I forgot my jacket there and they immediately worked to get it back for me.

Best hotel in Chengdu. Absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. Hotel staffs are very nice, and have a good service I will recommend.
